"When you showed me myself, I became someone else." "I've been caught in between all you wished for and all you need." Such a profound, deep and impactful song.
I still remember being a kid up late at night watching the Bourne Identity and in the original ending of the movie it has Jason Bourne meeting with Marie Kreutz and as the song begins to play they embrace and the credits roll.
@@benjoless yeah of course, i also personally love acoustic music (mtv unplugged by Nirvana and Alice in Chains are my favorites) but i was kinda let down by this performance, i dont know why but i feel like Michael was a little “indifferent” to the lyrics, i dont even know how to explain it
Joseph Auther studio version and live are amazing. This cover includes 2 all time singers introducing us to Joseph Auther. Check out honey and the moon by him. He's talented and wrote this with passion from his soul. They do an amazing job, but who would expect less of Chris Martin and Michael Stipe....
@@tinntinnamp I know, and it still sounded like an REM song. And I really loved it back in the day. Also, being covered by bigger names, the original will reach a lot more people too. If only Chris Martin kept away from it :-D

😎 the song and this live performance is a proper shiny gem. I come here annually to shine it.
I forgot how I found this song; but this song reminds me of the best time of my life
I found it on an episode of greys anatomy and used Shazam ❤
Me too. Greys anatomy too
Scrubs
For me it was watching the movie Saved.
Many years ago a friend showed this song! Masterpiece
Amazing pair to introduce me to Joseph auther. " Honey and the moon" is a classic everyone should give a listen to by Joseph auther

Few songs have a cover version more touching than the original. this song is one of them
I’m a big fan of both Chris and Michael and i know just this song by Joseph Arthur but aint no way this is more touching than the original
@@MMago_10 Let's say it's a matter of style, people who like acoustics may like this song more, it's a matter of preference :))

Thank you Michael Stipe and Chris Martin for this absolutely amazing song ❤️
Thank Joseph Arthur, the one who created the song and has an amazingly more beautiful version!
Such a Heavy song 🙏🙏🙏
Michael Stipe is my time machine. I can go to so many places and times through his voice.

Aron Wright does my favorite version of this song...Always
so goooood

唱的真好
Remplay yes
Hardest part
Suits Chris Martin's voice and singing really well.
When was this performed? Great song...solid cover
in 2005 during a benefit concert after Hurricane Katrina
Love both Michael and Chris but the best cover of this amazing song is Peter Gabriel's
ngl it sounded better on greys
This reminds me why I lost interest in Coldplay. The song always sounded like REM, so I'm glad it found as much as it probably could.
Huh, it's a Joseph Arthur song. His original verison is a million times better. ua-cam.com/video/Sx3fBN_FyiA/v-deo.html

Great, but tempo too fast.
I love Micheal's music, but here he falls way short of the original.
Catastrophe..
yuck... what a terrible cover
Only your opinion.
I heard this version first..I think the original falls short in comparison
@@Amj-tq3xt have you heard Howie Day’s version? Ugh it’s so good 😍
