What?? Your daughter??? I didn’t know you had a child, and I watch every video. Congrats man!
Responsible parent not putting thier kid All over social media (leave it to Mami lol)
Congratulations Dad and Mum 👍 watching from NZ 😁
Yeah, he's married and everything! Has a real family. Just doesn't want to expose them. Just watch his videos, thats what there here for!
Wholesome channel. I don’t think I have heard him swear.👍
@robwilsn3219 lol everyone knows he's married 😂😂. Know one knew he had a kid even you lol.
Man that tiller does a beautiful job
A man with a lot of land needs a good tractor to help him get his chores done. I think you probably made a very good purchase with this one. First time you mentioned having a child. Congratulations to you and your wife!
I bought a Kubota 3560 tractor with 4 implements.
Once you get a tractor you don't know how you lived without it!
Happy for you!!!
Green Acres is the Place to Be.....Farm Living is the Life for Me.
... Land spreading out so far and wide... keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside!
Really, Joel get a suit
I AGreeeee
Been waiting on the baby reveal, heard crying in some vids and became suspicious of Jade's absence. I am delighted for you both can't think any child could wish for better people as their parents.
When I was little, my grandparents had a farm and my grandmother used to put a fish underneath the bowl of a tree every time she planted a tree she said it helped fertilize the ground underneath it and help the tree grow. I guess she was right I never seen her trees die lol
Congratulations on your Daughter. I didn't know. I just wanted to say to reminder that you will need to protect your garden from the deer. Also nice tractor.
Anyone else start humming Green Acres when Joe started out tilling? Farmer Joe!
It’s the place to be! Farm livin is Joes new Life!! 🤣😂🤣
Thought the same, Ol' Joe could be Eb Dawson (Tom Lester)
Land spreading out so far and wide, Keep Manhattan just give me that countryside.
That tiller makes an awesome seed bed. Grab a few bales of peat moss and till that in to help retain more moisture in the sand.
Joe, that's a BIG piece you tilled up! Nice tractor, They were the Cadillacs back in the 70s. I remember the "pros" all had them. Nothing feels better than when your crop is at full maturity. Great video, Joe.🚜
Those tractors were built to last.Glad to see one in action. Haven't seen one of these since I was little. My grand dad had one for his home garden.
Farmer Joe!! ;-) Take that little girl up there with you and let her ride on that tractor with you, and help you plant those seeds (no video needed). And then she can watch the plants grow and bear later in the year, and be amazed. She'd remember that the rest of her life.
Yes
I collect IH and have 4 Cubs including a lowboy. You didn't overpay, the blower and tiller aren't easy to find in decent condition. Best thing is parts are easily available at reasonable prices.
Joe's officially a farmer now!!!
Most people are farmers in Wisconsin.
GOD Bless you and your family, your Daughter is a complete surprise, as a father of six, protect your Children.
When I was kid my father was the manager of a private swim club during the summer from my earliest memory well into my college years. He was a teacher at a technical school during the rest of the year where he taught drafting, blue printing, cad design, architecture and engineering classes. He was there for 40 years. At a young age I became the maintenance person at the pool and grounds keeper at the pool. I spent a lot of seat time in a Cub Lo-Boy just like this one. As kid of 12 or 13 I thought I could rule the world on that thing. In the winter we would take down dead trees on the grounds and drag them out of the woods to be cut and split for firewood. It served for many years and we wore it out. Then the club bought the newer model which was red and had a lot more power. Lot's of great memories with my dad.
Congratulations on your daughter! 🎉 Hope that’s not inappropriate to say. Very nice tractor, too.
Never knew you had a daughter!! Congrats on that. She will love your garden. So good for kids to experience planting and growing different things. Love it.
All those manuals & diagrams are invaluable if you need to make repairs & and it's nice of you to offer pics to those who need them.
Dang! This kid gets a whole pumpkin patch to herself. Thats awesome. Those tractors are worth their weight in gold. Well built machines
Now get that clover and millet planted for the game birds and deer!
Appreciate your plans for your property joe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙏🏻🇺🇸
I'm waiting on Joe to make a dirt track with all the equipment has has purchased. Come on, Joe! Get to it!
Dirt bike track ❤. Can't wait ❤
Don't hold yer breath. He's a farmer now. Content will go downhill from here.
I didn't know you had a daughter. Lucky little girl! Always thought you needed a little one following you around, asking questions about everything you were doing. The best time of my life was raising my kids. Love and respect Joe.
Joe, youre gonna have to put a fence up around your gardens otherwise the deer will absolutely destroy the pumpkins. They LOVE pumpkins
Now that you are a farmer, Rain is GOOD not Bad!
Great tractor for starting out! That tiller is a real back saver👍
Man, what an awesome score Joe, that tiller is frigen amazing I know that is precisely farmed land, but dang, full-depth tilling in one pass, dude you get a winner in this one. good job.
That’s a great running Cub
Now i look forward to watching your garden grow great video as always
Let's hope it does lol
Man, I'm jealous.
I’m impressed by how much traction it’s getting with those turf tires.
A lot of weight. They do get unbelievable traction tho
Give it the necessary time and love, get it cleaned and painted up and you will be super happy with the purchase.
Would like to see the tractor completely disassembled, sand blasted, repainted so it looks brand new.
I live in NE Wisconsin. I planted two apples trees in my backyard three years ago. Mac and granny smith last year I got two apples. This year I'm expecting my first good crop. It will take a few years.
This was a really good video i can't wait to see the progress on the corn and pumpkins your daughter will absolutely love it good on you mate 👍💙
You might want to put support blocks under the rear of your trailer when you load and unload something that heavy it flexes a lot and could eventually bend or break it, tractors are cool!
Yeah probably a good idea
@@2vintage 👍
Couple sliding outriggers
It's fun to see you doing something different today Joe. Thanks for bringing us along.
Joe, you are a blessing to watch it’s like watching my grandchildren keep up the good work. God will bless it and your family. You better get yourself a big hat to cover the sides of your face and long sleeves that can really be brutal on your skin, love watching your videos your parents Have to be so proud of you
Awesome job from an awesome little machine... you have a crack Joe, I'll give you that... admiral quality.... never know what you are going to come up with 😂
A few Sunflowers are aways great too 👍 🇦🇺
Nice little tractor right there. We had a Case one growing up and that thing would pull good size trees up to the house when we were cutting for firewood. Very powerful for it's size. Take care of that one and she'll outlast you and your family's family.
The Deer 🦌🦌 will appreciate the new snacks 🎃🍎🌽 on the property!
Thanks Joe for putting out great Videos.
Those are decent machines, for their size and ability. I think you will be happy with it. And 3k isnt a bad deal with the implements that were included.
Best of luck with all of your crops and trees. I did'nt know you have a daughter. That's great.
This tractor (and accessories) were built to maintain "Saturday Night Lights" grass high school football fields. Then every HS football coach had to have artificial turf. In the late 80's early 90's you could find this gear stored away in a shed and forgotten.
You could pick up the whole kit for the cost of moving it off school grounds.
Also wanted to point out. the only apple varieties that I would plant is Zestar and Honeycrisp. Zester are the best apples on earth by far. They are fairly new. Also I know you won't do this anyway, but know that you have to plant more than 1 apple tree in an area. The more you plant the better (giving space) They need each other to produce apples. Also make sure you don't do what 90% of people do and plant your Pumpkins too close together, they spread 10' this way and that. Keep that in mind. I would also if you don't have good enough drainage in your soil they will get stem rot, so depending on the soil you may want to amend with sand. Corn doesn't really root deep and doesn't really require a deep till, but it does require leaving enough space between your rows so you can bring a mower or something through and chop down the weeds.... You know what really does good in Sandy Soil that may not get a lot of Rain..> Watermelon... Watermelon is a desert plant that doesn't like a lot of water oddly enough.
(Obviously as usual I comment away before I actually watch the whole video, but I do watch the whole video... So... There is that.
I need a good tiller, haven't found one yet. Your soul there is soft and tills easily. Great vid, enjoy.
Pretty much rock free, not like where I’m from
Never thought I’d be watching a farming video…. but you made me do it Joe!
Awesome tractor
Great video Joe , something a bit different for you to work on watching from Edinburgh Scotland UK 🇬🇧 👏 👍
👍👍👍👍👍🤜🤛 your tiller is not gonna have any problems. Doing a great job because you gotta remember you’re running on soil that’s been till the year after year after year it doesn’t have any heavy roots. It doesn’t have any big stones or boulders. It’s already been chilled. You’re just breaking it upwith your tiller so it’s gonna go through it easily like butter you were running over soil you would probably have some problems, but it would still be easy for that not that difficult but you would do a little bit of problems.
We had a Ford 4400 growing up and without we would've been completely lost. From bar-cutting to cordwood to building jumps in the pasture for our MX track that thing got the workout of its life.
The deer are going to love your buffet.
That International Harvester, looks to have been well cared for. It even has some added glass door knob bling !! 😎
You work hard for your family Joe! Your video's are great!
Congrats on the addition to the family! Great video Joe. Also congrats on the success on your channel. Love seeing it grow subscribers. God bless
Now you need a furrow, and later a disc😊
Congrats on you two having a daughter!!!
Great buy joe plant your own food is a great idea and investment hope it all comes together for you and the family 👍👌👌🔧🔧🔧🚜🚜🚜
I just found this channel recently and yes no swearing and really motivated guy a real inspiration for me 👍 it's like me years ago so it helps me realize what optimism can do. I wish to learn from someone like this. He can be my friend anytime. My neighbor etc. Congrats on the family bro please be careful riding motorcycles from now on I swear the one where the sprocket came off. Take it easy Joe your awsome brother 🇨🇦💪
Farmer Joe! Great buy!
I learned to mow on a smaller 1970’s Cub Cadet rider that looked just like that one. Good memories🌞
Wow! That thing started up like it was fuel injected. Nice machine!
Skipping Monday morning meeting to watch Joe!!
🤣I am doing an online Ethics Test while watching Ol' Joe
That's a sweet tractor, I'd get some Rust-Oleum on that tiller and mower deck as soon as I had a chance. This rig will do right by you for many years to come.
You were wise to buy this well-made older tractor which (with proper maintenance) most assuredly will outlast any recently made half plastic tractor. I love the fact that it came with all of its original attachments and manuals.
Just a little tip on your planting. Plant 5 or 6 rows of corn around your entire crop plot, this will hide your pumpkins from thieves.
I do it to protect my tomato and pumpkin crops.
Next step is an electric fence. Nice purchase.
You will need an electric fence to keep the critters out of the garden. They will dig, so fence it below ground level and high enough to keep the deer out. They will kill your garden in no time. Love your ideas😊
That's awesome. I've watched you for sometime. Never knew you were a dad.
Should have put blood meal and bone meal in the seed holes. When they germinate, side dress with some 10/10/10 fertilizer😊
Deers loves to eat pumpkins
You are really well organised. I mean ordering an open plan car wash to coincide with the arrival of the vehicle. That's definitely next level stuff.😂
Congratulations, Dad!! Super cool!
Happy Days Joe Has Posted 🔥🔥🔥
Cub cadets are an amazing piece of equipment
Nice machine
Thank you for the food. Your friend Bambi.
Glad to see your putting the land to good use. Just remember that if you intend to grow gardens long term that you will need to replenish the soil with good nutrients every year. I would also recommend you work on soil enrichment along your rows for your planned apple trees as it will be important in the long run to keep them growing and healthy. Far too many people think they can just grow and grow and grow without ever enriching the soils they are growing in and they get frustrated when things stop growing well. I would recommend you start enriching all the soil where you plan to plant apple trees now, specially in the areas you plan to plant next year so you have the best results possible.
I use to have cub low boy they are good tractor
Love the kabota bx 23 with attachments and the old 8N. All a guy needs! This guy anyway!
What a fantastic find. I think it was worth the money you spent. Runs great as well.
The Three Sisters of Native American lore: corn, beans, and squash. The corn acts as the trellis, the beans climb the corn, and add nitrogen to the soil, the squash provides ground cover. They were grown together, mutually beneficial, and also happen to taste great together.
Good ol little tractors they all so made a 184 same tractor just painted red with the international name
Dont forget sunflowers . Also do good in that soil.
Those older Cubs are a great machine. That 15 hp is a cast iron engine and has good power.
A ploughed field is a nice sight to see
Would be a good idea to check the fluid in the chain drive on that tiller.
Before operating
What a unit!!!! They just dont build them and care for owner operators as IH did. Good on you 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Fantastic find. You have found a great tractor, they were one of the best back in the day. I would not wait to go pick up the snow blower, it may not be there when you go back to get it. I would go back and get it now and store it on your land so you will be sure to have it come this winter. Take good care of this gem.
Crystal doorknob is a nice bit of bling!
Wow been watching for a long time now didn't know you had a daughter Joe
that tiller works great, like to see it mow and snow blow next season
What a fine specimen of a machine! You said you feel like you paid top dollar at $2900, but from what I'm seeing that sounds like a steal to me! A great running tractor and 3 working attachments! And did you see how smooth that tiller ran with just one pass! Yeah, that whole deal was definitely a heck of a find! Plus it's just a really cool looking tractor.
Look into driving a point well for the garden.
That is one ambitious garden!
Equipment might not be as fun as dirt bikes and wheelers but it’s a necessary thing if you’re gonna live out in the country. I bought a 1987 John Deere skid loader about 15 years ago and that old devil has been about the best investment I’ve ever made. I use it for everything from moving snow and cutting wood to dirt work and everything in between. Old stuff is just simple and fixable 👍
Cool! 1957 we moved out to 10 acres in farm country (near Columbus, OH). My dad bought a new red (at the time) Cub Lo-Boy -- so his sons could mow the acreage. At 7, I couldn't reach the clutch, so I was relegated to hand mowing for a couple more years. Great tractor--the beginning of my driving lessons--but ours, at about 9 1/4 horsepower was low on oomph.
Wow ! , rototiller produced fantastic looking test plots ... Your going to need a farm stand trailer for all the produce, those land tracts will provide ... Happy gardening ! ...
I dont know anything bout tractor tillers joe but that looks like it did a perfect job. So kool you have kids or a kid. Never knew. Thanks for being my favorite tuber
Joe’s next channel will be “The Vintage Farmer” lol. Sweet buy on the tractor and accessories. That’s a big garden. I sure hope we get more rain than last summer for your garden’s sake. Good luck!
