Our Sailboat is frozen in the ice, serious temperature drop! - Report 13

After retreating from Grand Bruit back to Burgeo to dodge another series of potent storms, we eventually find some peace in winter's first spell of "calm". However, the calm brought with it bitter cold temperatures and a constant threat of freezing spray warnings which kept us locked - literally locked - in frozen water at the dock. Luckily we were invited to stay at the Coast Guard dock and they were all too happy to have some fun in their zodiac FRC and break up the ice for us so we could leave and spend some of the "good" albeit cold weather, at a peaceful anchorage. We also took advantage of the "good" weather to commission the dingy and do some exploring of the 365 islands surrounding this magnificent place called Burgeo!
