Funny story... way back in the early-mid 00s when we were trying to figure out how much power the m5x/s5x could hold stock we started calling ouselves the "hose squeezers" cause when we watched the dyno footage all 6 of us that walked by the car would squeeze the upper hose😂 Headgaskets failing were the biggest issue in the early days. When shooting for a 1000 we just said fuk it and o ringed the block.

I love your videos. but please make the switch to valvoline VR1 + Zinc additive. i really believe its what has kept my turbo M52 together.
i used to be a shell rotella lover, used it in my bikes / turbo car etc. but i read into oils and learned that the rotella isnt rated for higher RPM and higher cylinder pressures. i made the switch and havnt looked back.
admitedly i have gone through a couple motors in the past with rotella. im currently on my turbo M52 going on 3+ years.

Curious if you have heard of E46 M3 people complaining about gearing when boosted. Their diffs are 3.62 and their transmissions have nearly the same gearing as ZF transmissions.
I did a little reading and found out some of them change to 3.45 when supercharged, but it doesn't sound very common in general.
NA guys even change to 3.85 or 4.10! That has to suck on the highway, even with the little bit higher redline that S54's have.

Man I got a e60 530 with the m54. access to the Valve cover bolts are even harder to get to. Especially with the goofy factory strut bar and every other bs thing in the way.😂

There’s a company that makes metal wash and reuse oil filters for our cars and the supposedly filter a lot better than paper filters because of how consistent the filter Material is compared to the paper stuff.

Hey brother quick question, is that an aftermarket eBay lip on your front bumper? If so how did you manage to mount it? I have the same bumper and I tried a similar lip but there's no mounting points. Thanks!

Is that squealing during torque peak of each gear continued tire squeal? If so thats crazy, it sounds separate from turbo thrush sound
it was the muffler that was in the car. Iv replaced it now

Why 5/40 & not the recommended 5/30 oil?
Because rec is 5-30 or 5-40, 5-40 being for people in areas with higher ambient temp.
