Trade on the Tigris is awesome. I call it a reverse sidereal confluence, where you start symmetrical then everyone becomes asymmetrical. It is getting a reprint which is awesome.
Tom has often mentioned not liking or engaging when, after he posts a poor or middling review of a game, someone tells him he'll like a game more if he plays with them or plays it with such&such. So, what did Chris Yi put in that email to convince Tom? Was it a masterclass of elegiac prose? A wearing down of Tom's defenses with relentless puns? The promise of robust fruit-filled pastries? Shoot, all of these would've worked on me!
I hope the camera will enjoy its time up at the farm after this video.
Planet has been, for almost 3 years now, one of my family's favourite game. It's simple and fun.
Solid series. I've been in the hobby for 16 years + and love seeing so many titles I havn't before.
Played Trade on the Tigrs at Midgard ‘18. Tom taught us, it was a good memory
Planet is a fun little game. When I first played Cascadia, it felt very reminiscent of Planet.
Which game do you like more?
@@NATOnova I prefer Cascadia. Planet is fun for the 3D element (you put the magnetic tiles on a globe). But Cascadia has a little more depth of play.

Global mogul is great, and it’s about to be remade as “American Mogul” with a late 19th century art and theme.
Would be funny if the camera got better to show ten, five, and one years ago in video quality
Dang, those "Oregon" and "Willamette" pronunciations need some serious work Tom ;) hahaha
Nice extra's in the end ;-) to make up for the OoF at the start?
I play heavy euros and nothing hurts my brain like Planet. Something about the multi plane thinking makes my brain explode
Barbara Walters filter turned on!
What in the world do you do in the Brady Bunch game? Wish Tom told us.
Well happily the original review still exists! :)
@@thedicetower oh okay ty :)
Where is Zee’s look back?
Global mogul has a reimplementation in 2024
Rough video quality on this one. Quite dark.
Probably to take attention away from the fact the camera was out of focus.
Save me money never buy games. Play other sucker games. Historical games still maintain their resale value in fact increase with age.
jesus did you use a camera from 20yrs ago to record this
Weird hat
