Insane! A vision come to life! Talk about "make'n it happen"!!
Thank you
Your ingenuity is astounding!! Love how you are able to come up with solutions that might not readily be the "go-to". You give your models depth and a personal touch of excellence. Thanks for the play-by-play commentary into your creative process. Enjoy learning how you approach challenges to achieve movie model accuracy.
Outstanding work!!! Can't wait to see more.
Hello, I’m assembling the Y Wing starfighter Bandai 1/72, and you inspire me for the paint process. The iluminaron an the other fantastic details, are out of my league. Your work is fantastic, thanks for sharing
Nice job, looking really good. Love seeing how you do it step-by-step. THANKS!
Wow! I'm good at building but geeze! I think I'm gonna try. Beautiful work so far
You take what is already a great kit and take it to the next level!! Great work and thanks for sharing.
Fantastic detail, the placing the photo etch and then
spraying undercoat to see where to cut is a great idea. Always been an issue
for me knowing were to do the cut-outs, this idea will really help. Thank you.
Gosh but this is so beautiful. Your attention to detail is amazing. Thanks much for sharing!
Doooood! You’re a mad man! Awesome job.
wow the detail you haveput into this is stunning
How do you not have more than 100k subs? You put so much effort into your models and videos.
you play in another league man, impressive!
Awesome as always.
Wow Christopher, your work is brilliant as always. I finishing up the Y-wing as a present for my son, and although I've no idea how to light the thing, your videos have inspired my builds. The guitar strings was a stroke of genius, an idea I personally used and it added that small detail to push it to another level. Thank you for your inspiration.
Awesome. Happy when people can use my ideas. That's part of the reason I do the vids
Amaizing job.
Incredible
Dude, you need to work at ILM. Fantastic work, a true master.
Great job dude, really like what you did to this. Not sure I could do that. I'm going to build the Bandai 1/72 X-Wing. Although, I also have the old AMT X-Wing whih would easily allow lighting.
Gawd, but I love your attention to detail. If you have it, I'd love to see a video of how you painted the pilot!
Only have the little bit of painting the pilot seen in part I. It's very difficult to shoot on video while doing that tiny detail. I have to get in there to close and it blocks the camera
muy bueno amigo , te felicito, sds
Merci :)
the photo at 8 minute mark left side looks like snow speeder from Hoth. excellent build, love the lights. you have far more patience than I have.
Nope, it's the X-Wing. Those are screen grabs I did from ESB. A couple from when he jumped in and left Hoth, then the others from on Dagobah.
ah, it was the snow and gloves which made me think that.
wow
Another great video. I was wondering, where did you/ do you find such great reference pictures? Could you possibly share them? Thank you for any help in advance.
In particular, for the x-wing cockpit, they're just screen grabs I did from freezing the blu-ray of the movie on a shot that shows it cleanly.
Awesome build!!!! Where did you get the printout for the center targeting screen?
That's something I made and printed out myself.
Amazing !! Where do you get The metal stencils. For the cockpit
From Paragrafix.biz.
Insane job on this model, quick question regarding the photo etch parts: Where did you order this from?
Photo etch is from paragrafix.biz. I get most all of my photo etch from him
@@modelsbychris Merci Christopher!
Oof looks good
Do you perhaps have the computer screen as a printable file in the right size that you could share, would like to do the same on my x-wing 😊
I do not have a problem with that. www.mediafire.com/folder/ma7refh1ryicq/X-Wing_Screen_Files
Christopher Olson thanks 😊
Chris, thanks for sharing the printout jpegs. What did you print these on, regular photo paper?
where do you find a super-detailed 1/48 figure??
That figure came with the kit
You must have a lot of patience to do all that.
How to buy it
Where can I get the etching and lighting kit
The photo etch is from paragrafix.biz. The lighting was all custom by me. No lighting kit, sorry.
Hello, just want to ask where can I get the pilot photo etch?
