1.) This video reassured my knowledge insight and intuition.
2.) It confirmed much of what I already know.
3.) It taught me some additional strategies
4.) Affirmed that my MBA is not a scam (I worked hard for it) and reminded me that I am worth it!
So for that I say thank you for your service and what and how you provide invaluable and beneficial information that will propel us forward in our efforts when interviewing and potentially landing the job/ career.

I used this tactic in my recent application online. And they said they really enjoyed my answers. I have an in-person interview tomorrow morning so we’ll see how that part goes! As a blue collar worker, I have got to be in a constant lookout for techniques and tech, I have to know the why when asked and, the how to fix it, essentially a know it all. I have gotten into hiring manager interview thinking that i yad Aced it as I answered every technical questions, but soon realized that mist of the interview became a Q&A of technical questions with each question more difficult than previous one, finally analyzing this video is just that, I'm perceived as too ambitious, I know too well of the subject and i won't make anyone look good, nobody likes a know it all, so they get defensive and give me hard questions, I will try getting now in the more human side, to get to have a conversation, true; I will get the technical questions but I have to get those questions lead to a conversation. Thanks Daniz

Although I have yet to receive job interviews from small businesses, I do appreciate those that administer math tests through their human resources department. In fact, I am confident that if the selection process involves a diploma and math tests, I will be considered for a job interview. Mathematics serves as a crucial tool for unlocking opportunities that might otherwise be inaccessible. As someone who holds a major in Mathematics, I am capable of creating advanced math problems. I only wish that more businesses would adopt math testing as a part of their hiring process.

Good reminders for the seasoned, and even better intro for those newer to the market.

There is a risk HR sees straight through the bluff strategy, even if they are not subject matter experts. Some HR are specialized in a certain area and know if something makes sense or not. If they dont understand something, they can always ask the candidate to explain .... Isn't it a bit risky to for an interviewee to bluff his/her way through an HR interview?

The probability of a candidate making it to the next stage in interviews is about 15% - at recession times much much lower. This means you'll have to take risks and shake the tree somewhere otherwise the most likely outcome is that you'll fail anyway. You don't necessarily have to BS, though. It's about proving that you're not a "commodity-employee". Meaning, you're NOT just one of hundreds of millions of employees who can do the same job. You have something different to offer, you have an expertise gained in that particular field.

I received a call from a recruiter for a cybersecurity position with a company I dreamed of working for. It was really easy and lasted about five minutes and I was booked for the hiring interview. I polished up on all my cyber skills (recently acquired skills) and thought I was as prepared as I could be. Not one single technology or cyber question at all. It was purely situational and behavioral. I was not prepared at all for that. I did get the job, but I was caught way off guard. This video would have been great arsenal!

I don’t know what inclined me to look this up on UA-cam right before my interview but I am so glad that I did! No, I did not get the job, but I did refuse it because I am more than positive it was pyramid scheme. I really liked that. You talked about the realities of fake interviews. And that really got me thinking about fake job postings. !Thanks for the video!

Thanks for this video, It makes me feel more confident. I know I have a lot of knowledge but sometimes for me it's hard to show them and even more difficult because I'm not a native english speaker. However I think this is a good start and I've taken few notes of this interview preparation because I'm looking for a job and I want to be successful!.
