Hey everyone! thanks for your patience with this one and to everyone who worked to get all the story of one sky vids unblocked. I was able to reupload the entire reactions so apologies if you saw the edited one i published earlier today(i didn't know if it was going to get blocked again).
I watched on your first release when it was still full version, then came back for the cut off version (not realizing it was like that), then figured I should come back and watch the full version again since you went thru all the trouble to get it back up, it was the least I could do.

Hello Lauren! Thank you for your sincere reaction, and I hope you feel better soon! Have you noticed that Dimash is the main solder right from the very beginning of the war scene, when he was shot in the arm, many people miss that? When I first watched this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching, to say the least! 😢
Dimash has worked very hard for 3 years composing the music for this song, and around 20 days to make this MV. It turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE, for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts, not only for this MV, but for trying to bring the world together in love, peace and harmony, through his music, MVs and many charities he dedicates his time to. He is a Legend and will go down in History.
The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, and the necklace which was made by the young Dimash and shared with his friends symbolizing lifelong friendship and unity. The Piper grew up and started a war, using the symbol of the necklace as the crest on his army uniform.
This is my breakdown of the story, as I see it:
1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end.
2) The Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end.
3) The young girl, who died in childbirth, became Dimash’s future wife, had two children together; a daughter who was killed by the Piper's army; and the birth of a son at the end, who inherited the necklace from her mother…, they were all torn by the war.
For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim, Shepard or Wise Man at the end of the video was Dimash’s newborn son, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony.

This Painful Masterpiece is Dimash’s soul pleading to the World. I have no words, as my heart, body and soul are aching for Dimash. I believe Dimash Qudaibergen Has thousands of souls in him. How can one young man be so in tune in everything he does. His passion for The world, his country, his parents, his siblings, his friends, and especially his music is extraordinary !!! The Story Of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent
rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story Of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY and GREED.
The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end. This video needs to be shown worldwide

Well, some considerations: (1) The artifact that the boy found in the chest and that was transformed into necklaces is a "gnomon", a solar clock needle (rustic device to keep time); (2) The name "Piper" (piper, or piper) is known as a synonym for "dictator", "despot": This originates from the tale of the "Piper of Hamelin" (folk tale rewritten by the Brothers Grim), where a flutist was hired to deal with the rat infestation in the city of Hamelin (Germany, 1284). After hypnotizing the mice with his magic flute and drowning them in the River Weser, the artist went to collect the amount owed (a coin per head) and was not paid (they claimed he did not present the mice's "heads"). He then hypnotized one hundred and thirty children from the city of Hamelin and locked them in a cave. Well, the "piper" (also called the "rat hunter") has become synonymous with the tyrant who uses hypnotizing speech and leads to death! (3) The term "Imagine" refers to the song of the same name by John Lennon!
Notice that Piper bends the compass piece so it will never show true north or give the correct time. As he, indeed, loses his way.

Time and space are inextricably intertwined. I suspect that to the degree these gnomons are to be understood in a "literal" sense, their interpretation for this MV includes their other roles, not just their relatively modern time keeping role. Quoting Wikipedia:
> A gnomon (/ˈnoʊˌmɒn, -mən/; from Ancient Greek γνώμων (gnṓmōn) 'one that knows or examines') is the part of a sundial that casts a shadow. ... The gnomon was widely used in ancient China from the second century BC onward in order to determine the changes in seasons, orientation, and geographical latitude.
Some related thoughts:
* The "changes in seasons" aspect suggests to me knowing what "time" it is in a large scale Earth year sense. So in that respect a quite different role than its more recent "clock" for "time keeping" one.
* The "orientation" aspect suggests to me knowing which way is North and then, based on that, knowing other directions.
* The "geographical latitude" aspect suggests knowing where you are relative to the equator (things being equal and warm) or poles (things being at extremes, polar opposites, coldness).
What season are we in? (Perhaps winter is coming? Perhaps it's "time to save the Earth"?)
Which direction is North/South/East/West? Anyone almost anywhere on the Earth can work these out and/or double check them by observing and following the Sun ("follow the light") from sunrise (rises in the East) to sunset (sets in the West).
Latitude? The orientation aspect (which direction is North) works from tiny scale to Earth scale -- except that its utility breaks down at the poles in the sense that if you dogmatically stick to one direction you end up oscillating at a pole, going nowhere until you die of cold.

Wish you a speedy recovery!! Just FYI....I was a competitive figure skater. I herniated 2 disks in my lower back and had to quit. The LA Lakers team doc educated me that if I developed my abs consciously, they were developed reasonably from skating, but he said if I targeted them, my back would become stronger and the pain would reduce or even go away. So while I couldn't take the pounding and falling from jumping on the ice, I began gym training and core work. Pain free! After you heal up of course ;) When he did the LONG run on one breath as the camera moves thru the hall of dead people and then to a close up his Dimash's face, you missed a really important moment in the movie! THE EXPRESSION ON DIMASH'S FACE..... as you were circling your hand and looking at us....maybe you can catch that on a 2nd viewing. Best :)
When Dimash premiered this song at his concert he gave a speech prior to singing the song. I think that speech is important and gives context to the song and story:

We, the people sitting in this stadium, each of us is different, not totally alike one another, but we are all God's children, each of us with different talents.
And, as I mentioned just now, right now is a bad time. In fact, I am not satisfied with the present situation.

👉 That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen.
This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.
(Requiem means: Funeral, Funeral Mass, Funeral Service)
Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow pointer of a sundial, which was also used as a maritime compass before antiquity.
One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one.
The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle.
By becoming president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war:
“Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give the world freedom. A world where every city, every home is one. We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is open before me, and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.”
The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love.
While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge.
However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace.
A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together.
The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting.

My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change?
