Thank you for this video and connecting FND and EDS. We went years trying to figure out what was going on with my child. She just turned 13. She LOVES dancing and gymnastics and would aways contort her body. But as she got older she started to get a lot of pain all over her body. She has been diagnosed with FND, Dystonia, Non epileptic seizures ,HEDS, AMPS, Migraines,POTS,ADHD, anxiety disorder,mood disorder,anemia, Gerd, Oral allergies, seasonal allergies, eczema, learning disabilities,asthma, borderline diabetic and is in the process of getting tested for EOS. She had some trauma with Covid and going back to school and separation anxiety. She said she only felt safe with her family at home. She is in chronic pain and fatigue, she was hospitalized for a month for rehabilitation at a children’s hospital. She gets CBT therapy for two hours once a week and physical therapy 3 times a week. This has been a roller coaster of test after test missing a lot of school. I hate seeing her in pain. Some days are better than others. I finally got her an appointment for an FND Clinic. But it’s been rough for her and our family. Thank you for putting out this information. I do my best researching and educating myself to get my daughter the help she needs. She has a great support system and I’m very thankful for that.
