Actually Hindus over estimated Modiji's capacity. Hindus don't doubt his patriotism, his intentions towards the country etc., but he has left many loose ends that can eat away all his achievements. Hindus want a strong and un apalogitic Hindu leader not a diplomatic secular leader. For example no legal reforms implemented, no waqf removal, temples not freed, no police reforms. If he can't stand strong for Hindus and only want to be secular, what confidence can Hindus have in him. Hindus of Bengal have seen it. Most importantly why not speedy processing of legal cases against corrupt leaders. Very poor social media management, very poor poll management in many states and why is there no performance review of its MPs before giving tickets second time to existing MPs?

But people want actions and law and order the way Yogi ji is doing. Every state wants Yogiji. Yogiji is very clear in his mind what he wants to do. He removed article 370, but Kashmiri pandits are still out of kashmir and he is busy bringing more and more investments in kashmir.

There is no need for hair splitting. In 2014 and 2019 Modi was humble. In 2024 he was over confident. His supporters also got confident that 'Modi hai to mumkin hai' and took it lightly putting all weight on Modi.

Modi and BJP thought they need not have to talk to people as they know him. More over core issues were side lined hoping to woo muslims to support BJP based on good relation PM had with Arab leaders. The fault on this possible assumption was the fact that Indian Muslims never have stopped hoping to retain identity so that they get power again and do another partition if needed as per their wish. Nothing was done to control few radicals who were spreading hatred and helping anti national islamists who were in league with Congress_ left combine due to visceral hatred for anything hindu. Will they recover which is needed for India ? Only time will tell
