    Other review on Spatiality from user - Scott Yelvington:
    "So I gave this a full run on my vacation in Hawaii. I’d say the location was a great place to test the different options. That said now that I tested both options, I like iPhone for most cases. If you’re recording mid day in the sun with lots of light, then Spatialify will do a decent job. But it has a lot of issues that make it not worth it for most other use cases as well as being buggy enough not to trust it for even that use case.
    1. Spatialify does indeed give you higher resolution. But leaves a lot of encoder artifacts which sap from the joy of watching your content back in 3D.
    2. Spatialify isn’t coordinating keeping the lens focal distances in sync with the two cameras. I had a few recordings go bad when Spatialify allowed one camera to focus close up and another camera focus far away.
    3. Spatialify doesn’t handle background processing very well so after about 5 or 6 minutes, there’s a growing chance your video will simply be torched. I lost a few videos this way.
    4. Spatialify doesn’t offer anti-shake processing. The videos coming out of Spatialify were much shakier than the regular camera recordings.
    5. If the light is lower, Spatialify is basically not worth it at this point.
    6. A lot of the camera app is optimized around speed. Spatialify has some clunky UI issues that make it less speedy and more annoying to get started with."
    I hope to further the review and give you a better idea of what to choose. If you also has feedback, feel free to drop it here. Cheers!

      This matches my experience with Spatialify, and I gave up on it after experimenting with it for a while. There ain't no free lunch when it comes to taking immersive photos, especially in 3D. I'd say that the iPhone's spatial photos match well the uses Apple recommends for them, capturing small-area intimate scenes. Now, if only there were a drag-and-drop way to get Canon stereo images into the AVP...

    Hello blogger, I saw the 360 panoramic photos you took on immerse. They are very high-definition, but the pictures I took using DJI Mavic 2Pro & Insta360 x3 are not clear. I want to know how you did it. Looking forward to it. You can answer and reply🙏

    Hugh Hou,
    I wanted to thank you again for letting me know about Moon Player for the Apple Vision Pro. I thought I would pass along a neat trick I just discovered. So I was porting over a bunch of older 2D videos I had over the years, just to see how they'd look on the Apple Vision Pro. They were a mish mash of different codex and Apple Vision Pro refused to play just about all of them. I thought, what the heck, I'll see if Moon Player could do anything with them. And to my happiness, Moon Player could play ALL OF THE VIDEO FILES! SO COOL!
    The reason I stay away from Apple Products, is because of the proprietary way they think about everything. Everything has to be just their way. But I'm glad there are people out there who want to expand the possibilities of what we can do with the Apple Vision Pro, like the fine folks over at Moon Player. New functionality I wasn't expecting :)
    Have a great one!

      That is a good tips. Yes Moon is a "Catch it All" type of player. Apple will be Mult-view HEVC - so there is transcoding pipeline being build to make porting easier so I hope soon I will have a better workflow instead of writing FFMPEG code lol

    4k left eye and right eye clarity is not the same, there is a lot of difference. And with almost no cropping, the stereo near the edge is less comfortable than a native camera. Native cameras have cropping and are more stable. A 60 frame 1080p file is small, smaller than a 30 frame file, and the picture quality is lost. I regret spending money on a 4k shooting app。

    • @marsliu2331
      @marsliu2331 5 місяців тому

      The biggest problem is that the left and right eyes are out of sync.

    Apple Vision Pro 2 will be out early 2025 I’m going to wait for that and skip this one. There first model is always a prototype just to see how the public responds and then go back and make the real thing after they have heard all the pros and cons.

    • @Reactivelight
      @Reactivelight 5 місяців тому

      Whatever. But that has nothing whatsoever to do with the issue being described here. The current AVP is already way, way "too high" in visual quality for our current photography equipment, and if a second-gen model improved the quality that would just make the disparity worse. We don't need a better headset, but rather better photo gear. Even the Meta Quest 3 is more than adequate for displaying the images from current cameras-I own both headsets, and there's very little difference between them when displaying my own best-effort images (I kept the AVP mostly because of its glorious integration into the Apple ecosystem). So if your primary complaint about the current AVP is the price, just get a MQ3 and you'll probably be happy enough.

    This is nothing for vr, this is 3D for my 2011 3D LG TV. I can't understand this hype, only because apple find it in 2009

      What are you talking about??
      Watching 3D on a TV is VASTLY INFERIOR to watching 3D on a VR headset.

    • @WatanabePuchta

      @@PSYCHOV3N0M its a 3D video not more. For VR you need 180˙ or 360˚ with 3D. Flat 3D is only in apples eyes the burner.
