With apps like Clutch, AI can definitely help you be a better badminton player! Here’s the link to download the Clutch app in the App Store: geni.us/clutchapp and don’t forget to use the code "badmintoninsight" to get 10% off the annual plan OR "badmintoninsightmonthly" to get 10% off the monthly plan!
If you sign up using our code, you will be entered into the draw where Clutch will choose 1 person to win a video call match analysis with us! 😁 The draw will be done on 7th June 2023 and Clutch will notify the winner by email.

Thanks to everyone who sent us footage of themselves playing, and sorry if we didn’t include you - but we have saved them all so keep an eye out for future analysis videos! 👀🏸
Hi
I was going to download this, but it seems to only be for iPhone and no android 😢
Looks like it would be amazing to utilise and I would have never known about it if I'd not seen this video so thank you 😊
!remindme 2 months
It would help a lot if you analysed my clip , I will link it here if you reply yes
I am 12 by the way
From India
i dont think even AI can help fix my blunders
🤣😅
Try wall hit practice. I do around 2000 to 3000 a day in around 30 minutes. Sometimes even hitting upto 350 shots in a streak. So the chances for blunders reduce.
AI be like : play football instead 😅
Omg i died when Greg fell like that 6:08 😂
😂😂
🤣🤣🤣@@BadmintonInsight
i love that lit up sign at the back!👌
good video, clutch really does seem like a helpful tool. I checked the price however and it's like 17 euro ish (170kr) per month which is absolutely insane for a monthly subscription
Much cheaper (hourly) than reviewing and analysing the data yourself, and cheaper than having a coach in a western country.
@@nomad.wedding well that depends big time, I also meant it is insane for me, since I am merely 17yrs, so while not a lot of money on it's own. it's over 100 euros a year.
@@olivertaikko1890 ah yes. I had no money at 17 😅 not even a bank account.
wow, i see a massive change in the backgrounds of your video, it looks really cool and it shows how far you've come since a few years ago, its amazing
Thank you so much! We put a lot of time into the background, so we’re happy you noticed 😁🙏🏼
Agreed!
@@BadmintonInsight 👀
Keep going, your videos teach me a lot. Thanks! Great video
Thank you so much ☺️
As an IT person I love this.
Careful what you wish for, a lot of IT tasks can/will be replaced by AI
Woop, thanks 😁
@@richf1182 it's no different to any other job. Tech is always changing the way we work. You will always need humans in the chain and you should always be using these tools to make things easier for yourself.
@@purplemonkeydishwasher5269 Well said!
@@purplemonkeydishwasher5269I is different. That's the point.
It is not like anything that's come before, general rules don't apply.
Anyway, no point debating it with me - have a look at what people like Geoffrey Hinton and Mo Gawdat are saying.
I wonder if you'll still have the same view in 10 years...
Just a recent subscriber (Hello from Ireland ok not that far away!!!) guys and trying to take 1 tip from each video and apply it in my games...just implemented getting to short serves faster, from your return of serve video, and dropping sharply back in a mixed game....my partner and i won both sets 16 & 14. I noticed exactly what you said in that it forced our opponents to lift half court back and it gave me so much time to choose my next shot...next up its the mid court pushes!
That's amazing to hear Darren! Keep it up 😃
hey greg and jenny, great video. Is there any chance you guys can do a video on what rackets to buy for different kinds of players? thx and i hope the channel grows larger.🙏
Damn, clutch definitely looks clutch for people looking to play competitively, haha. That’s pretty amazing!
Haha, it definitely is! 🔥
Thank you guys for helping me to improve badminton ☺️☺️
You’re very welcome 😄
Good advice about raket head angle when under pressure in the rear cort. I will try to implement in my next game! Thanks!
Another great vid keep up the good work!
Thank you 😁🙏🏼
This app really came in clutch for these subscribers and for us haha. Thoroughly enjoyed the vid and I also like the background as others have mentioned. simple but sweet.
Thanks for the Lesson
very perfect explanation, easy to understand
Thank you 🙏🏼
Nice setup. Love the illuminated Badminton Insight logo!
Thanks Dennis! 2 subscribers gave it to us 😄
Great video guys!
Thanks team 🙏🏼😁
Will give it a try, been playing for 8 years, but still so many bad habits
I just cross 50 a few days ago. Start playing just few months ago. & That without the net. Just for fun. With people even more than my age. i play harder & little longer even i sweat a lot. don't know if it is good for my age. It is feeling like i couldn't play in young age so i m playing like young now. But age is age. Do make videos for players for my age. What we should do & what we should not. Regarding risk of injuries / health etc. I found videos of u guys very informative & thoroughly researched. God bless you both.
This is awesome! I cant wait to try the AI.
Interesting . Looks good. Think the app will blow up trying to figure out me and my mates game 😂. But good video all the same as always.
Thanks for the video ... one of the best you've done. #LoveYouGuys
Clutch seems amazing.
Thank you so much Arnaud 😁🙏🏼
6:05 I love that exaggeration 😂😂😂. That made my day loool
😂
Love this video good points
Thanks! 😁
you guys are angels
Haha that’s very kind of you!
Whats the best camera and tripod you recommend if we need to record our matches for analysis?
finally, actual good news for ai evolvement
good vid, will try soon
Thanks ☺️
Can't wait for humans vs robots badminton in 2050
Once again another great presentation. I wonder if you are able to help, I have tried to download the App but I'm unable to find it. I'm UK based with a Huawei phone. Thanks
Thanks Errol! They’re expecting android release on the 31st July!
Thank you Greg and Jenny the district team select me because of you
Good tips
Finally after 2 weeks
Great app=)thank you !
Thanks for watching! 😁
@@BadmintonInsight can you make a video on how girthy your forearm should be, how big your legs and shoulders should be please 🙏
This seems wonderful to me. Has anyone tried this out by themselves? How good is the app? Does it recognize lines and points well? We play in a Gymnasium where there are different color lines on the floor for different sports that are played. Does it do a good job there?
great video!
Thanks Harry 😁
Nice video 🎉
Thanks Reynan 😄
Hey I had a basic query about racket gutting. I'm a beginner and i have a racket tension of max 22lbs. What if I apply 23lbs of string tension to my racket. Yeah and i want to send my clips to you so how can i do that?
Can ok revisit it. It's updated with its own cam and rn AI coach is in private beta. Maybe you could get access and make a video about it
This apps can use for android? Or can use only for apple phone?
Lol I really used it to find out why I shouldn't lift cross court in mixed
I need some tips on late "overhead" shots . Many times I was caught by attacking clears that zip past my head and I cannot move "behind" the shuttle to hit regular overhead forehands . In such cases , what are my options .
I have the similar problem but for backhand. It's quite hard to know what is the best tips for anyone without any video, but for myself the main problem is my backhand footwork and backhand swing is bad. I imagine for overhead shot it is mainly footwork, and the initial split step to get the rhythm
First and hey guys love ur content
Thank you 😁
Np just a fact
Hey idk if u remember this but I met u at the all englands
U were abt to enter a meeting on the first day
are you guys participating in the vm badminton 2023 copenhagen
But this app can't install in android plzz give a link for android so we can also use this app🙏🙏
does this also work if I just record one of my amature games, that doesn't have a scoreboard, and are sometimes played on a court, with other lines, than just the ones for badminton
You don’t need a scoreboard! As long as you follow the video requirements outlined by Clutch, it will work 😁
The app isn't there for android :(
why not participate in Sudirman cup 2023 ?
Tried it but it’s not working
Are you guys still using the Victor Thruster F?
We sure are! 😄
I county trials, this will help me
Good luck! 🙏🏼
@@BadmintonInsight Thanks Greg & Jenny

I hope this comment will be seen. I play badminton at a fairly sustained level. By the way, i'm playing single. When I play in training, I'm really happy with my results, I'm improving, I'm having good matches, I manage stress well because it happens several times in training that I get back several points in a row and this even when the opponent has the match point, in short my skills are at their maximum in training. On the other hand, when it comes to playing in competition, the stress eats away at me and does not allow me to play completely. My stamina is likewise swallowed up by stress, I'm unsure of my movements. In addition, the fear of making mistakes pushes me to be unsure of my shots and so I make mistakes, it's paradoxical... It usually happens that the first match I make 15 to 20 mistakes. I don't get angry during a match but the stress gradually increases and I therefore make more mistakes, it's a vicious circle. After the match, I feel disappointed because I am absolutely not playing at the same level as when I was in training, in all areas: endurance, technique, mental... Can you make a video on the mental and stress management or do a parenthesis on it during a next video, please!!!
Thank you so much, your videos are always great!
Love from France!!!
I used to have this problem. It can only be fixed by playing tournaments a lot and getting used to it.
@@theonethatprotectsyoufromt9271 Thank you for your response, and by the way my problem is already solved. Actually, i used before to give to myself à lot of pressure in the tounaments but now once i forget it i play my best.
Hello! Sorry for the late reply! Thank you for your kind words and suggestions for future content 😊 From your other comment it sounds like you’ve figured one part of the solution - to take internal pressure off. We can hopefully help you more in the future too! Jenny "Not Very Effective"
Me: Pokemon Reference?
🤷🏻♀️
@@BadmintonInsight 😂😂😂 in Pokémon terms, “Not very effective” means if a Pokémon delivers or is hit by a move that isn’t strong against its own or its opponent’s type that means the move isn’t very effective therefore it does very little damage. 😉 Love you guys! ❤️
I've been willing to use such thing the whole year as I was computing stats manually myself. Gave up as it prove to be not efficient timewise. Having done automatically would be great. I would have definitively subscribed. However, the timing is off for me, I can't subscribe for two reasons. 1) it is Apple only 2) It is the off season right now and there is no badminton during summer here.
is for apple user though
Hello sir
My tournament is on 14 may
Its my first tournament in badminton
In U14 can you give me some tips plz

Clutch not available for Android? 😢
Not yet but it will be in July/August. They are also opening some places for beta testing so if you are interested you can reach out 😊
Hello badminton insight
Hello 👋🏼
I wish AI can fix my wrong forehand grip (semi panhandle)😊
😅😆
Great, but there is no app available for Android devices.... Which are in the world - 90%
We're working on an Android release very soon!
you can use low kean yew video matches and see haha
Hi
Its not free though
but what for android users
They’re expecting android release on the 31st July!
@@BadmintonInsight thanks for your reply I was just thinking what to do now😅😅😅
AI can definitely help you find the right things to work on. But at a higher level the competition will keep getting tougher.
Yes, and it’s great for opponent analysis too (if you have footage!) 😁
lets ask chatgpt
is clutch free or paid??
Can you make new video on smash
We already made a very detailed video 😜
Plz don't mind me I have a question are you brother sister? Plz reply
Haha nope, we’re getting married soon 😆
Omg congratulations 🎉
BTW I'm subscribed 😊
And I also want to be a badminton player
But I'm 13 rn 😢
Hey, do you think you are ever going to go back to weekly uploads?
We want to, but at the moment we have too much on with our own training & tournaments to commit the time we need to make 1 video per week (around 20 hours!!). We would rather make 1 really good video every other week, than 1 average video every week - hope that makes sense 👍🏼
Okay that makes sense, thanks Greg and Jenny
It's only on IOS for now ... Uggghhhh
They’re expecting android release on the 31st July!
Waiting for Android release eagerly @badmintoninsight
first :)
In the world with AI vs Humans... I will choose to be with my own kind.. Everytime.
❤
P.s: Sometimes when you are the strong/agile of the two then increasing the pace of the game & being more agressive makes you lose more points because our partner is weak and cannot adjust accordingly. So may be, they will start losing points in first 3 shots rather than 5.
To farm any content regardless of what subject it is
Just include AI
Good video.
Badmintoninsightmonthly code does not work :) only the annual one. Let me know once it’s fixed! Thank you
aaahh it's only for ios
They’re expecting android release on the 31st July!
Very interesting! I hadn’t heard about Clutch but will check it out 😀🏸
