Brandon I worked construction for 40 years as a heavy equipment operator and excavated for many basements, footings, foundations and driveways for both residential and commercial buildings, also been around thousands of structures being built. Now as I have watched your family house being built in every video you’ve made I want to express my opinion of the workmanship and organization of the order in which it has been done and I have never seen a better job nor one equal to the quality that I see in your project. I have not seen wasted time or short cuts on quality. Congratulations, I’m proud for you and your family.

The broom effect makes it not slippery, adds texture! I wish they could’ve joined the walk while they were there! I’ve never seen men work as hard as fast and in-sink as everyone has building your home!

Any one that says it's just concreate has no idea how hard these guys are working. Not only hard work but it takes a lot of skill as well if you don't think so just try it on your own.

I have been doing concrete work now for almost 50 yrs! Yes it’s hard work but I love it! Only thing I pour is 4000 psi with micro fiber!
I want to say about the snooze button when my husband and I worked we never hit the snooze button because I set the clock across the room from our bed I had to get out of bed to shut it off by that time we were wide awake.
Was this concrete pour an add on that you didn't have in the plans?
My step-dad was a cement Mason and he taught us how to do concrete. It is hard work for sure.

I know how excited ya’ll are. We built a house back in the early 90’s. It is so exciting. We no longer live in that house, but it was our first and meant a lot to us. Enjoy every moment and I can’t wait to see the finished house. I can see how excited ya’ll are everytime ya’ll are in the house talking about it. It will be so different than the camper and tiny house. Ya’ll will feel like you are in a mansion. God Bless! ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻

I grew up watching my dad pour concrete in our driveway & backyard. They used the same process as well. I learned a lot from a young age as construction was always being done around us. I was the kid asking tons of questions, so I learned a lot.

My husband poured and worked in concrete for a living. He always kept his tools clean for the next job. I still have some of his tools, was a hard job but he enjoyed working with it. I sure miss him, passed in late November of 2022. Prayers would be appreciated. Thank you for caring and sharing your family life with all of us here. Don't forget to get your Internet wiring installed before sheetrock. Call whoever does your internet. After electric wiring, before sheetrock. Unless you want them to put holes in your brandnew walls.

Fun fact if the cement is mixed right it takes 100 years to get to it's strongest point and another 100 years to get back to it's weakest point. My dad worked in a cement plant for many many years and that's where I learned that from.

in ' 78 we hand dug a 12x 12x 12 ft pit for a cement block sewer for our house with a cement top . got pretty good mixing the cement in a wheel barrow. after 45ish years has not ever needed cleaned out
