This visualization is the thirteenth of a series depicting various OPFOR tasks for the Virtual OPFOR Academy. This visualization depicts an OPFOR insurgent element executing the OPFOR drill break contact.
This module is designed for company level units assigned an OPFOR mission during home station training. By the end of this module you should have an appreciation for the subtask synchronization of the break contact drill.
The BLUFOR representation is only to provide context to OPFOR actions, and is not intended to represent current BLUFOR TTPs.

Kind of crazy how TRADOC has basically published a video series on how to successfully conduct mounted and dismounted conventional and guerilla operations against US Army units...

Did you even read what it says in the beginning. Blufor in these videos doesn't represent current us military tacticts , techniques or procedures.

its the usual. "if we tell you, it means we want you to know". this could be a trap, or just the normal American thing of making everything super complicated by Expecting their forces to be able to exceed the enemy that WE TRAIN OURSELF. US forces are known for being able to thrive in Chaos. i dont know if the higher ups just want to Stress out their forces by doing this. or they believe this wont help the enemy at all. which is at best super arrogant behaviour. because even if it doesnt depict blufor SOP. this still give the enemy a reality check. a calm collected frame of mind, and a Starting point to Develop their own Strategy.
i was about to just write " Terrorist: WRITE THAT DOWN! WRITE THAT DOWN" but i assume you are looking for a more Serious answer.

@@rifqitaqiuddin opfor is much more collected and planned than most legit
and it does assume a level of success that might not be seen

its VBS which is essentially Arma's serious brother. Its a real military simulator that's sold to actual armies.

Thiss technique was used by somali militia ...using food aid as a political tool......but the basic principle for breaking contact is use diversionary tools to break contact...IED or SNIPER harrasment

Funny how they portrait the insurgents as malevolent and cunning criminals whose purpose in distributing food is not humanitarian relief but solely gaining support. Interesting video nonetheless, I'll know what to do when the US deicdes to liberate and democratize my country (in Minecraft)
