There is BTS of the loving kind and did you know that Sarah the one with the blonde hair is no longer with us. She died of terminal breast cancer about 2 years ago. She was only 39.

There's a behind the scenes video somewhere of The Loving Kind video. That's the song with Sarah's infamous bum note during an early morning TV performance. She just laughed it off. She was an icon!
The opening of their reunion tour opens with untouchable, with Sara on a big screen like an angel singing down on the group. It was very moving

Girls Aloud have to be one of the only bands to come out of the Popstars franchise to have longevity. Their discography and the way they’ve been able to create their own unique sound is just *chefs kiss* The way that Xenomania would get all of the ladies to sing the whole track and then just chop and change who sang was something that no other girl band did or has done since then.
I’m glad that they’re reuniting next year as a celebration to Sarah’s life, who knows what that might lead to further down the lines…

I remember at the time, boy bands were huge, where girl bands weren't so much, so everyone expected One True Voice to trounce Girls Aloud. But then Sound of the Underground was interesting and a bit different, whereas the guys' track was well-performed, but unremarkable. Then Girls Aloud tried different styles and managed to stay interesting.
@@kyleday5026all members would record the whole track alone and the producers (Xenomania) would chop their solo versions and build the final product by putting the chops together as a group song.

You're right about "I'll stand by you" being a cover. It's a cover of The Pretenders (Chrissie Hynde) song but it is a pretty decent cover. I had no idea Cheryl Cole sang in this group. I don't know much about her other than her being an X factor judge and having had her life saved by Derek Hough.
Girls Aloud are Touring in May and June 2024 as a 4 because of Sarah Rest in peace girl.❤ but they are back together as of this week and tickets pre sale Wednesday 29th November and Friday 1st December properly ❤

@@kyleday5026 I enjoy some of their songs, have listened to a couple of their albums but I don’t consider myself a fan. Their music have more american pop influences which is not a bad thing, it is just what they chose to do.
Ooh, I didn't realise you'd done a new Girls Aloud reaction! I'm on holiday at the moment (in beautiful France, and my French isn't very good either, lol!) and I'm just catching up with things now. So glad you're loving Girls Aloud's music, videos, style, everything. By far my favourite girl group. I'm going to try to get tickets this week for their reunion tour here in the UK. It'll be strange to see them without Sarah (RIP🌹) but so great to see the others together again. I look forward to watching you react to more of their videos. The only couple of singles they released that I didn't like are their covers of I Think We're Alone Now (always hated that song!) and See The Day. I don't know why they did those pointless covers when their own original music is so great). :)

You should watch their live performance of Untouchable from Dancing On ice. They sing the album version of the song, it's a little slower and longer
Untouchable is longer on their album Out of Control , they had to cut it down length wise for radio /the music video. One of my favourite girls aloud songs, makes me think of Sarah from the band ❤
finally someone that likes the single version of untouchable! i've always thought it just matches the vibe of the video way more and it's more groovy. i do have to say i prefer less autotune but i love the electronic feel of it way more than the album version.
"The Loving Kind" was originally written for inclusion on Pet Shop Boys' album Yes (2009) before being given to Girls Aloud ❤🎉❤🎉❤

I grew up with Girls Aloud so I've been randomly bursting out crying ever since rumors started flying about a potential reunion a couple of weeks ago. This video is wonderfully timed!

I think you need to listen to all there singles even the ones not released such as here we go,waiting and watch me go they are awesome I’ve been 3times and next year my 4th time and I can’t wait,I’ve seen Sugababes twice the Heidi when she first took over Siobhan and at the O2 just this September,they also had a single together Girls Aloud vs Sugababes number 1 walk this way,I’ve been to see Destiny’s Child,Kylie the X tour,Mariah,Cher,Tina Turner!.I love 🎧 music and now girl groups are coming back now take over the DJs using songs that are copied and using them as singles no original songs were now we will be getting the next stage of Sugababes they will be in the studio writing and Girls Aloud have plenty of planning.they make amazing songs and they will smash their comeback and Sugababes will totally kill it with new music,when the rain comes,that was announced at the concert was a surprise so no one actually did advertising but their new songs and album will be amazing like Girls Aloud xxx❤️❤️❤️

This was a great selection of girls aloud songs both the loving kind and untouchable were favourites of mine and off same album with the promise i think the only reason untouchable didn't go top ten was it was the third single off the album released and all fans had bought the album by the time it was released but all of these 4 are cracking songs i love re listening too
Ahh I love this song I loved girls aloud since I was a kid, couple of days ago something insane happened, i work in a airport in London as a security officer and nadine coyle WALKED THROUGH and I asked if she was famous she said no I said really you look just like my favourite from girls aloud she goes it is me haha I was FREAKING OUT but I had to try my best to keep it professional she was so nice and sweet it was the best day for me😫

Untouchable has a longer version that's slightly less synthy and with a longer chorus. It'd be a bit much to check out on your channel, but you might like it.
The full length version of Untouchable is one of my favourite songs ever.

you should check out The Pet Shop Boys' version of The Loving Kind they recorded 5 years ago, I believe, since they personally wrote the song for Girls Aloud. Different lyrics and a different feel with male vocals. a stand alone version but just as amazing

Girls Aloud squad, imaginary vice president of Nicola Roberts affairs *AHEM*: that version of Untouchable is a crime and removes most of those airy vocals she gives in the full track. Some of their videos are straight to jail for Nicola erasure - some directors don't seem to feature her for some reason even when she's literally the one singing.
A little bit of useless or useful information, Nadine would record all of their songs first and would be the reference points for the other girls to lay down their vocals.

I just saw the video and agree with fellow posters... The album version of Untouchable is SO much better then the single version! The single version really butchered the song 😭
