I have a HC for this au now! When this Dazai (dipper) joined the ADA he had attempted to mimic Mabel and Oda as those where the two ‘purest’ people he knew (adopting some of Oda’s morals and attempting to be silly like Mabel) although since Mabel had died so long ago his imitation is more-so akin to a person Mabel would befriend rather than Mabel herself
They're actually really similar in personality, if you went beast route with the au I'm sure the pines would be very uncomfortable with dazai's whole molding reality to his means. Alot about dazai I could see them going 'He acts so much like Bill" especially Dazai being called the "Demon Prodigy". Bill would probably be so smug about it, I could see him cheering on Dazai the whole time lmao.

And then they reunite in the agency yay I mostly thought of this because at times Dazai and Yosano are depicted as siblings so I thought it would be cute

Replace odasaku with mabel LOL when mabel and dipper are going home they get into a car crash and some mafia executives find them, they took dipper for training to be an executive and held mabel as hostage to keep him motivated, mabel will live a rather normal life with occasional visits from dipper but she is still suspicious of what the people that "saved" them are doing, when mabel finds out whats happening she tried to report to the authorities but members that are loyal to the mafia realized and went after her, while mabel was getting chased, she took a sharp turn in which led to her death by getting hit buy atruck (lmao headmaster?), dipper found out like what happened with odasaku and rushed to her and had her dying wish

This implies that Bill planned to kill dipper on the water tower & frame it as sewerslide, and do we know how dazai met Mori? after attempting suicide. yes. that's common knowledge but what if... bill cipher altered his memories? surely as an international Cthulhu horror he'd have the ability to do so right? So what if instead of that bill did make dipper jump but bill exited his body at last second? and the previous mafia boss/a subordinate just so happened to be in gravity falls for checking up/on orders and saw dipper/dazai & sended him to mori? (let's just pretend they have a person with an ability to trave long distances...) And in my previous comment edit i said that bill went to this universe to give dazai bad love advice, surely bill would know of the misdeeds of this other him even in this reaction vid? even then he also planned the "sewerslide" plan aswell.. (Im continuing this in the morning lol it's 11:57 & my head hurts... I would like that in the second part, if you get to do the second part you could put a little of Dazai's relationship with the Lupin trio, and even that it is a little soukoku to give more depth to that topic, or maybe more deeply the trends of dazai, bone I mean his suicidal tendencies, or womanizer but it's just some advice, I loved the video! 🫶🏻
