wow should have kept my really nice1955 Belair hardtop I payed $400 for in 1968 ! everything is way too expensive these day - who can enjoy these cars at these inflated prices ?
$400 in 1968 was a pretty penny for a 13 year old car thats $3,500 in todays dollars, people think its still $400 in todays dollars its like spending $3500 today.. Thing is back then a 50's car looked so out of style as people wanted new and better and the 68's were better, drove better, more power etc..But today old cars are cool and new cars are all ugly as hell.
The interest in these cars are going south everyday. It's the young folk, they are not as interested as we were. These old cars mean nothing to the kids today, nothing to relate to. Go to any vintages-custom show. There are no teenage boys with their heads under the hoods.
Apparently you didn't watch the entire video. If you did, you would have heard All prices are negotiable and that they sell appropriately 100 cars a month. You may not be buying at those prices, but others are.
