Listening to all the stories that I hear reminds me of the stories my great grandmother used to tell about her mother and the hardship her mother had to go through when they were taken from their homes and suffered on the trail of tears, but she also had good stories as well that I always loved to hear. My great grandmother was only 4'11 but she could hold her own,I miss her very much and I can't wait to see her again.
lol You are choosing a perfect time for this to be 'corrected'...Many blessings for success. Are other Tribes experiencing similar opportunity? Loved the stories...made me feel young again, too. :)
Thus ain't no Cherokee. Just another $5 Dawes Roll pay Indian descendant. I got a picture of my great-grandmother. Full blooded Cherokee. You know...the ones y'all mistake for "negro" or "black". So give me a break.
Cherokee comes in different shades we have light skin ones on my family and we have dark skin ones in are family I just hate when our on so call native play the race card and make it seem like all dark skin people try to claim them when they know who we are and the history of trail of tears people look down on us or laugh at us because are own have neglected us and lied to the world.and people need to know the difference between indigenous so call black people and so call native American and Know the this land is turtle island.
Cherokees can come in many ways, which if you were an active member of our communities, then you should know that we don't all look alike. Sad to see such blatant racism. You are not behaving in an honorable way and your toxic attitude goes against our principle teachings.
These videos are precious pieces of our past.
