I appreciate your perspective on the game, having recently stopped playing Apex I've almost forgotten why this game piqued my interest in the first place.
Bro my biggest advice for a new player is to play mixtapes and get better and not just jump into BR expecting your not going to get killed by a three stack
The main mode of your game is basically dogshit is what you're saying, wonderful advice! I'll just skip the mixtape part and uninstall completely, thank you for the great advice
Dude u had so much time to heal. I can tell u know how to play shooters, but to have fun or not die as much you need to learn a lot. Ggs tho dude hope u get back on sometime.
11:08 This is because Apex was actually the first game that has the "modern ping" system, after it came out the rest of the games starts to use it aswell
came across your account and it’s nice to see people playing apex again i picked it back up recently and have been hooked ever since i love all the new changes. that account does look very good as well 😂 hope all is well and would love to see more apex vids in future from you!
Same here! Played a tiny bit in seasons 3-6 and got back into it a month ago. So in love with the support meta, the changes to evo and legend upgrades, the rework to my favorite legend Lifeline, etc. The game is so fun Id love to see more people get into it again
Probably a combination of the title, and thumbnail not being the most compelling, along with apex kinda not having very much traction in terms of views.
@@Whose.George Basically when youtube, without them telling you, makes it really difficult for your channel to be recommended and gain viewership. He wasnt shadowbanned
As someone who just started playing apex last week this video coming out now is a GODSEND. Also that last game had me literally at the edge of my seat.
I think you need to watch some basics of apex videos. Just playing raw out of the gate is such a skewed experience because it's not a fully casual game. Something like CoD is mostly run around and shoot. This has a lot more nuance to it. Like you didn't know you could holster your gun to run faster or that slide jumping is faster than just sliding. Also most games with a 4+ year life cycle will have very few first time players so trying to get your foot in by yourself surrounded by experienced players is not going to be fun.
well said, truly. any battle royale genre is inherently competetive in nature. thankfully there is the mixtape mode of faster paced more consistent action, also a great place for beginners to learn the basics of the movement and aiming systems in the game while being in a low risk environment.
@prod.ampdup while I do mostly agree with this take. It's not fully accurate. My sister has just started playing apex, brand new accurate and has never played it before. After getting out of those bot lobbies they give you, her first legit game has a champion squad with 30k kills combined. I could understand if the whole squad had 10k. This match making system is a joke. I understand it's a competive game, but the game can't grow if only the sweats play.
@@Silverlined_69 You make a perfectly valid point, any game needs diversity not only in gamemodes but in the types of players if its to remain relevant for a while. Sweats are the lifeblood of Apex, unfortunately, but its still ultimately Respawns fault for not creating a good enough ranked gamemmode for those high level players to truly feel rewarded for their skill and be consistently matched against similar players. The eomm/sbmm, or how about this, fundamentally broken matchmaking system is the most frustrating thing I have ever dealt with in any game I've played in my 21 years of living. I'm not sure how my previous comment accuracy is any different as I was primarily referencing the mixtape mode that is NOT a battle royale, and has respawns available so someone in the same shoes as your sister, so to speak, can get comfortable with the game (possibly become a sweat) without potentially wasting 15 mins in a br match to just go right back to the lobby before even getting a kill.
@prod.ampdup mixtape isn't any better. Especially since all the casual players are leaving in mass, leaving only the sweats to play amongst themselves. While mixtape doesn't suffer as bad as the BR, it too still uses the same match making as well. Either way, new players are forced to play against people who have been playing for years. There is no reason a brand new account, not even 24 hours old, should be getting matched against players who has played since zero season. There is no reason a brand new account should be going up against people who have hit the lvl cap more than once. I'm not expecting to win every single match or even win single 1v1, but when it gets to the point where you are in pubs, (freaking pubs) and you are constantly getting killed by people who have more kills on ONE CHARACTER versus my whole 4 years playing, why would I keep playing? It's bad enough I have to sit through an hour of higher match making kicking my ass, just to have a game where I can actually win a fight with my team. Hell, I know I'm the trash player of my group because I can't hang with my friends with over 1.2 kd. I just wanna have some fun.
@Silverlined_69 im in the exact same position as you. Only difference is personally i do enjoy competitive games and at this point thats just kind of what Apex Legends has become. Id love for some of my friends that arent big into fps or br to check it out because i know it has that potential but not with the state that its currently in exactly as you described. The games honestly just been around for so long that its at that point where if a new player or returning player isnt willing to put the time into to hitting the range and getting better, before trying to just have fun than its not worth ones time. The game is a competiton, every mode at the end of the day is about winning or losing, so the larger amount of people that play and arent focused on the grand scheme of victory and succeeding being their primary sense of 'fun', than the slower and more boring the game will become. Look at Fortnite for example, they had, and still do have, so many new players that in order to remain relevant they have had to just cater almost entirely to them or the fanbase of another franchise, and well, look at the state thats been in ever since "chapters" became a thing. But even then, they have maintained a dedicated gamemode and following for a seperate competitive side of the game, helping the imbalance of baseline public matchmaking. I don't disagree with anything you say, and you make some great points, I just think its good to remind yourself what kind of game your playing and why. If there is no other reason than having fun and enjoying yourself, then any game thats based on winning or losing is less likely to satisfy you, and if you do like games that are specifically multiplayer and based upon winning and losing, well, unless you put the time and effort in to actually try and be good at winning than I don't see how you deserve to have fun while playing, not every game is meant for everyone.
When you’re running you need to put your gun away. And the basic movement to move the best is slide jumping so you run then slide and jump and then you wait 2 seconds to slide so it doesn’t dead slide then you do it again
Hey buddy. Before I even watch the video, I wanna say I also started playing the game this year (not exactly, I played season 3-6 but only a handful of games) and Ive never touched a shooter before in my life. I love this game. I fell in love the first time my friend and I hopped onto the shooting range and he showed me all the awesome movement you can do. Yes, the lobbys are sweaty and the matchmaking is shit because the player numbers are dwindling, but honestly the game itself is so much fun. Just wanted to say that for everyone scared off by the title
The quick adaption to learn this game is mostly centered around movement is crazy, if u learn the patterns and the techniques, along with getting accustom to at least a few different legends, along with practicing every gun, u can make a stand in the game.
I just cam back to the game after 2 years not playing. However I have sunk over 5,000 hours into this game... yes u heard me 5,000! and it feels very natural coming back but Yeah i can imagine just jumping into the game now would be ridiculously confusing with a high skill cieling. The game is now so convoluted with too many legends and abilities to memorize and the player base is so experienced now trying to outplay teams of experienced players is gonna be almost impossible for new players.
for someone that plays apex my self i dont even wanna know how many times i said omg when his aim bad ass hell (not hating love this guy and his content) but i understand i mean i was the same when ih opped on after like 2 years of not playing
As someone who started late season 19 im not exactly new new but im not comfortable saying ive played for awhile i will say the issue with apex is it gets stale in terms of new player lobbies its non existent and hasn't been since i started either bad mmr system or more likely not enough people coming in causing alot of people to quit off rip because its hard to enjoy a game if everyone is leagues ahead of you in every lobby
Loved the video keep it up you were definitely better than most players starting so good job, I would also like the apex account I main bloodhound and would love to get the prestige and heirloom but I'm looking forward to your upcoming apex content great job dude 🎉🎉🎉
literally in the first fight of the first match you played, you went against a lvl 230 player as a lvl 17 player who hasn't touched the game since 2019. I know that a lot of people who have been playing this game will say that being a lvl 230 doesn't mean they're a good player, yeah I also agree! But you can not ignore the fact that a lvl 230 player has so much more knowledge in the game, more used to playing the game, more likely to make the right decisions, more likely to already have two people to play with which they have some sort of team synergy or communication. You guys really can't ignore these and you can not tell me that a lvl 230 going against a lvl 17 is okay. It's not. Levels actually matter when there is this much gap between levels. There is not that much skill-set difference between a lvl 230 and lvl 400. Because both played the game enough to learn the ropes. But you can not say the same for a lvl 17. A very low lvl player against a much higher lvl player is always a huge matchmaking system issue.
Having played this game for 7K hours and eventually deleting after this seasons new Rez Meta, watching this video actually warmed my heart and made me feel hella nostalgic. I miss the feeling of being a noob and not being aware of any of the issues this game has. And tbh this game is dead and not worth your time
"i assume as you get better the highs and lows get more consistent" not true at all, if anything it only gets worse. The only thing that improves the quality of the gaming experience is when you 3 stack with better teammates...
let me know if you would like some help with mechanics like movement. i love to see the pov of a new player since i remember being helpless in the beginning.

Wrong! I never touched shooters until I started playing apex a month ago and honestly if you wanna learn the game theres so many resources and you can just play Mixtape to practice if you get annoyed by the loot, run, die that is BR
I love apex but respawn has hurt the game so badly this battle royals had the potential to be the best battle royal game ever but they make stupid decisions and make the game not fun for the casual player you can see your level 17 going against sweats I remember when I first started the game there were so many players bad at the game just like me and now you can’t get into any skill based matchmaking lobbies even if your a very low level this is why no players want to come to the game because they will just get sweated on and EA only cares about the money that the sweats and dedicated will play.

9:49 how, do u buy ps accounts?.
the matchmaking is just crazy shit so u get inconsistent enemies
Pls do another apex vid?
Hey Dittoz that account will be awesome if I can get it I have been playing since launch and never managed to get an heirloom.
I’m going to tell you this in the best way possible. It’s impossible to start the game now and get good at it because your new and don’t know what your doing and your already getting into lobby’s with people that play the game all the time

with those skins definitely u havent played only 5 times

Great vid. I would give the account to my friend he has no heirlooms
How to start playing apex in 2025

The matchmaking in this game is terrible,A great video❤ but apex matchmaking is soooo bad as a level 20 you should not be in sweaty lobbies
You were actually better than most of my teamates lol. also, GIVE ME THE ACCOUNT!! please. keep trying to play this game, it's fun (in moderation)
I need it I'm a pg to the game and it will be nice to have/ the acc
I would greatly appreciate the Heirloom account, thanks and good luck to everyone! ❤
Please
If you have been playing Valorant, COD, or any of those childish games, then Apex Legends will be an exponential skill gap for you. Lol good luck trying to get one clean kill on diamond lobbies
Dude I want the heirloom account 🤩🎉
Garbage game is garbage. Idk why they make the bullets move at nerf gun speed.
the skill based match making in these games r so bad

Or is it just me
