That one from Paradigms of Human Memory (I think) where the Dean dies in Abed’s arms while dressed as a flapper. Also just so many parts of the first paintball episode.
This has to be the most specific video I’ve ever been recommended. If I was high I wouldn’t believe this really exists. I haven’t heard all of Zepilote Machine, All Eternals Deck (just a Damn These Vampires reference?), Transcendental Youth, or Songs for Pierre Chuvin. Anybody able to explain? And has anyone shared this with John Darnielle?
Zopilote Machine: the ref is Going to Georgia All Eternals Deck: you're right transcendental youth: Songs like TY and Cry for Judas have themes of being off beat and outcasts and YOLO'ing
Songs for Pierre Chuvin is based on a book about the pagan cultures that were defeated/replaced by roman christianity, so I assume the theme is "being forced to praise jesus"
the transcendental youth clip was kind of a stretch, there wasn’t really a common theme except for a vague rejection of authority so i just threw in something that sort of fit that theme. and yeah, the all externals deck one was just a reference to damn these vampires
“You got Pierce to symbolically kill his father by dancing to club music”
My god.
this is such a niche and specific video idea. i'd say "who was this made for" if it wasn't directly catering to my interests.
Weezer fan and a mountain goats fan? That's based
The Sunset Tree was just perfect.
‘…and listen to DANCE! MUSIC!’
This is so funny and niche lmaoooo
And accurate! WSABH is awesome. And the dad thing with sunset tree lol
Tallahassee was perfect too.
Bleed Out would definitely be from one of the paintball episodes right?
"I had a dream it would end this way."
*gets shot a bunch of times*

This is what UA-cam was made for. Stellar work.

THE GOTHS ONE IS SO FUNNY HELP
I'm crying these are all so perfect lmao
It's dark in here fucking got me dude good stuff
The crossover I never knew I needed
This is very relevant to my interests.
It feels like this video was made specifically for me. How did you know?!
the mountain goats community community is small but mighty!
this is so specific but its just specific enough for me
this is my perfect niche thank you
It's terrifying that this exists. How did you know.
This is so good holy shit
I didn’t think you could pull it off
this was crafted especially for me
Two things I love
Extraordinary
I feel so seen

Thank you for the insight!
@@dimethylhexane That make so much sense! This video is amazing.
