My nephews both had acid reflux at night. It can be scary. The Dr will give you medicine and tips to help her handle it. Always listen to your Mom gut. She’s absolutely adorable.

Acid reflux. Ask your primary doctor about. Our newborn Ellie had that. We ended up giving her meds and switching formulas around.

Since Iris doesn't move around yet, try elevating the part where her head is, see if that helps, I have gerd and at night I sleep better when my head is elevated. Jaxton is in his poop faze, loves saying that word💩, I could've killed my brother when he taught the toddler I was watching the word kaka! Iris' eyes💙 are so pretty!

Take her to the doctor. It sounds like she is sick. I just listened to a baby dying of strep and the only sign they noticed was a cooing noise but thought it was a baby noise. If gagging is waking her up it means she is sick. Also her sleeping a lot could be mean she is sick.

I would always rush my babies to drs or a&e if i was worry something was wrong as it better to be safe

Listen to your mom self if she keeps making the noise video it and go to Dr it absolutely could be something that could effect breathing my grandson had a issue that wasn't caught until 3 months after he stopped breathing in my daughters arms THANK GOD she acted fast! He ended up having surgery and his only sign was a weird sound

I would video it when Iris makes the gagging sound and show your pediatrician, or if its very bad and they are not in, I would take her to the ED. My grandson had a problem that in the very beginning seemed like just some “baby infection…normal newborn thing” that became life threatening and in the PICU very quickly….not saying Iris has something that serious, but with small babies, things can go from small problem to big, very quickly…and since they cant say what is wrong…its best to get it checked out. May be refux…very common in newborns, which can be treated with medication, or raising the head of her bed higher than the bottom…bit i would definitely make an appointment if she does it again. Better safe than sorry. She is so precious.

I don’t want to alarm you cause this might not be it but my cousin had something similar but she turned blue and when in hospital they found a very tiny piece of plastic. Like from a package. Could have got In from anything. Nursing. Playing with a toy. Rolling and face hit floor and tongue touched it. Etc. I would get checked

Am I the only one that is getting so infuriated that she didn’t take that baby to the ER!!??? That could’ve been something that had to do with her breathing!!! And she put her back in her crib only to keep listening to her gurgle!!!! OMGGGG take her to the doctor please!!!!! This baby is a newborn and it could be something more serious. Wtf is wrong with people?????
