    I finished about 250,000 sq ft on my Mirka before the interface pad wore out, it cost 28 dollars to replace it.

    Hope your fix holds- let us know. Tell Garret he does great work and we just appreciate seeing his effort. You don’t go wider blade on the ceiling skim because holders go wonky? I’ve got a 40” & 48” coming from CSR Black Friday sale..

      I'll let him know thanks ED yup the bigger blades work better when you have two points of contact like grabbing them by hand.

    Could you make a video on how to prevent tape drag when using a bazooka? I have a Columbia predator and I'm having a hard time preventing drag in the corner.

      Hey man make sure your mud is thin and also a lot of times it’s the way you angle the bazooka into the corner. if you are having a hard time running it meaning that you are using a lot of force to run it in the angle you need to lean the bazooka closer to the ceiling you can get it. When it’s 9 ft ceiling leave at least two inches when you start .

      Drywall nation has done a couple on tape drag here one of there links. I like to leave it long at first so as it drags it compensates for it self.

      @csdrywallhawaii  Рік тому

      For level 4 smooth yes but for level 5 the Mirka is king.

    What would happen if you didn’t skim that ceiling? Would the mud in lights flash?

    • @csdrywallhawaii
      @csdrywallhawaii  Рік тому

      The mud in lights would have a small visible hump because out the flange build out.

      And you really like it more then the hilti ? How the ceiling work stays up there without load I have the vacuum already thinking bout getting the new planex 2.0 or whatever .. just because if the suction I don’t like holding the sander over head anymore it’s too heavy .. I been using hilti arms with my long reach planex
