    This was a wonderful video - I used the examples to try match what I'm looking for from the sounds played but none matched. I need a triangle to give a clean C6 pitch ... I'm not sure what size or make that might be or how you can even find out pitch information before you buy.

    These videos are incredibly insightful! Thank you for posting. I wonder, how did you record the triangles? The recording sounds different from what I've heard playing some of these triangles myself, is it meant to sound like it would in an audience?

    5:07 why does it sound so disharmonious? what if you strike it with wood? (sorry, I don't know anything about music) Is there a more pure sounding note possible out of a triangle? I guess I'm expecting a tuning fork sound. Thanks in advance.

    Very useful information, but why this unnecessary background music? As a musician I always listen carefully to music, and I hate it when music is used as a background noise, like"elevator music".
