  • The #triangle, probably the most underrated #percussion ever! But a lot can be done with it, as with any simple small/high percussion. Here's my own humble attempt to demonstrate basic and advanced techniques on this "drum". Not a tutorial / class / lesson but a simple and groovy solo which can help find new ideas on how to play that instrument, even for the beginner.
Playing here patterns on the #LP triangle with constant bpm and successive divisions of 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 micro beats.
#SixtySecondsShow #Episode2: no small/high percussion is minor. Enjoy!

I was sceptical at how advanced the triangle could be but I totally stand corrected 😅

Yes of course, I've heard Brazilian forro:)) I believe It is from forro that the modern triangle playing (holding) position came from

Thanks for these wonderful demonstrations. I'm learning to compose and I'm learning about percussion instruments. I started with your cabasa video. Wonderful!

The beginning reminded of this Indian 16 beat rhythm pattern called Teen Taal. Starting 00:08

@@EmmanuelSimonWorldPercussion sounds like the beginning of YYZ by Rush about halfway through the video. I came to the comments looking for if anyone else heard it
