- We decided to go check out the upper section of the trail that had not been hit so hard. It was a bit of a hike in the snow but well worth it. Hopefully they can do something with this upper section. Hope you all enjoy the great views.
Thanks again for the beautiful work you're doing. You are helping to document an historical event, and your efforts are greatly appreciated. ❤
@@marshalldeberry6235 Thank You!!
That was a beautiful hike! Thanks so much for sharing. I am in Texas and we just got a lot of snow. Very rare for us but I loved it! Lasted 2 days. Great video! Love your furbaby.
I'll see you around the donkey farm one day💞
Beautiful scenery! Thanks for taking us along.
Very pretty hike!
Thank you for the video. I was wondering how many miles of the Creeper Trail need to be fixed? All the icicles indicate that there’s running water under there. Can this contribute to a mud/debris slide? I love Little Bear’s attempt to “mark his territory”; My dog used to do the same thing. He’d be on a leash & it would take an hour to walk half a mile 😂. Thanks for the hike 😊. Hope the Fight ended the way you wanted
@@LeslieRobillard Thanks again Leslie. I think we estimated 11 miles of trail was pretty much destroyed. Give or take. Im sure we have not seen the end of the slides. Hope your day is great.
Have you been to Backbone Rock since Helene?
@@alpittman902 Yes. Looks good over there.
You gotta walk like a penguin. We're supposed to get some snow tomorrow. We haven't gotten a lot of snow this year like we should, I think it all went down to the lower 48s this year. We actually had rain last week and that's not normal for willow, Alaska. We usually get 2 feet every 3 or 4 days all winter long. We have been getting only 3 or 4 inches every other week. Really Strange!
@@robinbird5249 Snowing pretty good here right now
The weather's flipping on the globe...we get cold winters here on a somewhat consistent cycle. However, it started way earlier than any previous year...odd.
Have you checked out Creek Junction yet
@@jamesmitchell5667 Yes. It's in rough shape but you can get in there. It was in one of my videos several weeks ago.
Is chestnut mountain road the road that goes to Taylor’s valley
@@jamesmitchell5667 yes. It's on the upper side of the mountain.
