Love all your pages. You motivate me to color in them..otherwise yes mine is a collection too...love your colorings so much. Yes it was me we buddy colored! Thanks for sharing hun. 💜
I also have collected almost all of them (no the dogs, cats, or owls) but only colored in the magical creatures one. That's also my favorite! I look forward to seeing what you continue to do in it
Lovely pages, I found the same with inktense leaves funny blotches. I am liking my black widows in her books and acylic paint. I have mermaids,.owls and now unicorns on my list
Thank you!! I do end up with some streaking, it’s pretty much unavoidable with water based markers. But once I go back over with pencils, I am able to even it out. And as long as I don’t go over the same spot multiple times, I usually have no bleed through. Although, in my Owls book, there was some ghosting which is unusual.
I'm not usually into cute.. but I picked up the mermaid book at Walmart the other day. It's not just cute but really creative, and it just hit me right. I also like the size, not so big, less time to complete.
I do think I’ll try to use gesso or something similar at least once to see what happens. I like the problem solving aspect of figuring all that out ☺️ Thanks for watching!!
The next one you said you want to do in A Million Cute Animals is the cats, if you want to film it and do a color along I’d definitely follow along! Love her books too and like you I’ve collected far more of her books than pages I’ve colored. You’ve actually done more. Any page in any book of hers you do I’d follow along though I love how you do her pages! The Mermaids you did so cute! The whale came out gorgeous!
I really wanted to see how you would use the brutfuner colored pencils in lulu mayo's illustrations! The real prismacolor is very difficult to find here in Brazil😔 Thank you very much again! 😊😊😊
About the texture of the watercolors...some watercolor colors are meant to granulate and look like your top shade. Watercolorists actually like this trait.
@@emmyyardley9206 They for sure can be pricey. I haven’t tried many others, once I started buying Tombows, I was hooked 😉 But I feel like I’ve heard good things about Ohuhus. The only other ones I’ve used are from my local art stores like Hobby Lobby and Michaels.
@@emmyyardley9206 I've seen good reviews for the ohuhu's but I haven't tried them yet. I've got my eye on their pastel set which is out of stock so I'm trying to wait it out. The other I've seen good reviews for is Arteza but I don't think they make a pastel set. I only use pastels for bases, and do all the darker colors in pencil. So I'm using only Tombow for now (on double sided pages, if single sided it's alcohol 100%) but unfortunately the Tombow pastel set is very small, I also have the skin tone set since half of it is pastel neutrals.. the regular pastel set is all colors... and it doesn't have a good pastel green, the one in there is more of an aqua. I did try Crayola super tips and was not a fan.. the tip makes it very difficult to color smoothly and they are more prone to bleed through.
Super cute completed pages! I love her books too, they are just getting better and better! 🥰
Thanks very much!! They do keep getting better. I am anxiously awaiting news of her next one ☺️
I love to see your work in Lulu Mayo's books. It's been 1 year, so maybe you can do an updated version of this? Can't get enough 🤩

Thanks so much, Amanda ☺️
lovely finishes. I really like the cat carrying the basket!
Thanks so much!! ☺️❤️

Thanks so much!! They are such fun books ☺️
I love these videos! These are indeed very cute! I may have to add one to my collection ❤️
Yes!! You need at least one 😋

Thanks so much ☺️❤️ Those are def good additions!
Thinking about buying this because I can purchase a at work.😁
Her art is so cute. Loved seeing all your pages!
Me too!! Thanks so much ☺️❤️
Great sharing 👍👍
Love the pages! How do you use the crayola markers without any streaky lines or bleed through?
Thank you!! I do end up with some streaking, it’s pretty much unavoidable with water based markers. But once I go back over with pencils, I am able to even it out. Loved your pages :)
Gesso or watercolor ground also work well at stopping wet mediums from going through paper.
Thank you!! And I do have gesso as well. Going to try all the stuff 😉

I have the same dot problem when I use a water medium on these pages. I just decided to stick to pencil only.
I do think I’ll try to use gesso or something similar at least once to see what happens. I like the problem solving aspect of figuring all that out ☺️ Thanks for watching!!

Hi Erica I was wondering what type of waterbased markers u use on all ur pages x
Hey Emmy ☺️ I use a combination of Crayola super tips and Tombow dual brush markers.
@@Elmcolors ooh thank u I've been meaning to ask how u used markers in the Eriy books !!
Do you recommend any other dual tips as just looked at the tombows and they are a wee bit pricey !!! X

I love her books, but, struggle with what medium to use. What is your fave medium so far?
