This movie never gets old and this part never gets older. I loved the movie and the song. I think she really had a story to tell, and a very interesting one at that. By watching movie, made me really like her more. I miss this movie and I miss hearing her songs on the radio.

The look of satsisfaction on her face when she finished. She knew she had it alllllll in the bag. Talent looking for a place to happen.
Another GREAT artist who is underrated and for some reason not receiving the merit that she deserves. I'm not sure what the case is (label issues, management etc) but she DEFINITELY has one of those sultry soulful voices that should be on a higher plateau at this stage in the game!

It takes a lot to stand out at one of those because there's well over a thousand people there and only roughly 50-80 will make it to see the judges at each city. I remember there was one season of Idol where they straight up deleted an audition city from the aired auditions after nobody made it through.
