Eth hasn't really made a move this cycle, and it went over 10x last cycle. It is a good investment, excellent track record, so fairly good bet if you want safe yet good returns.
If you only have $1000, maybe consider putting that in a smaller market cap coin. More risk more reward. Just an idea. But do your research. You'll be more successful and hold through if you believe in your pick
