Japan in fact had a powerful, but partly outdated army. It’s size allowed it to expand almost to Australia. This large, but spread thin empire caused supplies to be limited, especially when there was an active battle going o .
This was great dude! I especially loved the part where the Japanese soldiers read the GI's letters, it's very rare you see an animation on here done in the Japanese perspective, especially one which portrays them as more human compared to their radical portrayal in previous films. Keep up the great work!
@@Abeaverstudios yep. Unscathed. A mortar round went off 10 feet from where he was sitting and shrapnel went right past his neck and hit another man in the face
I feel that most people forget about letters soldiers would have written and received from their families. So you adding the seen where you had the Japanese Officer read the letter from Samuel’s Mother was a nice thing to put in the video.
Dude, holy shit. Watched your videos at less than 500 subs and to see you getting this many views is so amazing. I wish I didn’t quit brick filming and I might’ve gotten as good as you
Astonishing. Absolutely stellar. The animation was smooth yet with the low frame rate had a signature style for LEGO animators. The lighting and shutter speed worked well together to create a nice atmosphere. The sound design was really top quality and was nicely done (was it from a movie?). The practical effects worked well although at times should have been faster and lasted shorter. Overal the various angles and the way you visual composed this was well done and cleverly thought out. Nice job man
I failed to find Captain Rex 😢 But this is epic and I am shocked by how you successfully combine epic plot and epic animation into a "film", instead of just an "animation". I really love this not only because you use a lot of sounds from movies, but also because the plot... generally, the whole thing is just unutterably amazing. The set and the minifigs are awesome, too, especially the vintage m1 steel pots. I believe that every brickfilmer has been impressed by this work of yours, and I am sure that this will be "the" brickfilm which will motivate more and more people to animate.
This is a great and long video you made so far. I Also liked the where there to to separate point of view to the Japanese and American soldier’s Nice work!
Man you were the first channel I every subscribed to and thank god I did. This was an amazing video with great sounds, light, and smoothness. You are by fare one of my biggest inspirations. Good show lad.
I was very impressed with this video. I was very happy because the works drawn from the perspective of Japan are rare.😆The animation was very smooth and the story was very interesting. 😊This sentence was written using a translator. 😆😆From Japan.🇯🇵
10000 IJN Marines and 4000 IJA stragglers remained in Manilla leading to the battle... due to Iwabuchi Sanji disobeying General Yamashitas orders to retreat and take the fight to the rural mountain areas .... 😮😢
Sorry that it took a long time, hoped you liked it! Did you see captain rex? And dont forget to turn on subtitles for all of yall who speaks english!
My favorite scene had to be with the tank. I'll edit if I find Captain Rex
(edit: I did not)

Nicely done. I love how you showed a humanized depiction of the Japanese.
Thank you, I was kinda inspired to remake that scene from letters of iwo jima as nobody else had done it😅
I love the camera shake when something is hit and the variation of gun flare you used is a really cool detail, well done
Thanks😁

Yes it is very interesting
I’m pretty sure the Japanese were actually just dedicated to the war and would literally rather die than surrender
