Hero seems to have an unfinished business with Darius after the race in Palmont City, because the bags are switched. Hero didnt have the money and his girlfriend was in the hands of Darius, making him bought Nikki for everything. Hero would like to come back and conquer the city of Palmont.
Imagine:
-his BMW M3 GTR wasn't totalled, he would have the chance to take down Darius and the other guys he had in the streets.
-Or his M3 GTR was totalled after Cross, Hero's starter car would have been the car he drove back in the first race in Palmonth City.
Possibly the reason why Hero's story of Need For Speed ended (Starting from Carbon > Underground 1 And 2 > Most Wanted > Carbon).
This is why i need EA to remake their old NFS Games just to make the Story more clear like this Hero guy id like to know the full story of this guy like how he got the M3 GTR after he left palmont and where is he before he got to Rockport, I believe he got somewhere else after his race in Palmont as we can see he already has the M3 GTR when entering Rockport.
The starter car would be the supra but wasn’t toyota tripping hard on street racing games during this time period???
They never tripped about street racing. It was just a cover story for EA being shitty with the licence deals.

I am a Gen Z too and i do loved this game since i finished it back in 2018. My aunt first introduced me to this game (especially Underground 1 on the PS2) back when i was 4 years old. And years passed, i go back and finished my childhood racing games.
Until today, the game is still enjoyable than modern video games today that was killing the Video Game industry due to cashgrab unfinished titles, DLCs and overrated gameplay. It became my stress reliever whenever when im bored or after Re-watching Star Twinkle PreCure (Episode 27 is the episode that triggers my PTSD) for a 100 time. Why video games today doesn't feel like the old day, *THE GOOD OLD DAYS HOMIE 😔*
Nice one dude! I'm a Gen Z but I live in the balkans and I talked to other Gen Z's from the balkans and turns due to the fact that we are poor. We get potato PC that can run classics like NFS U, U2, MW, Carbon, GTA 1, 2, 3, Vice City, San Andreas and 4 etc.

You need ExtraOptions mod to unlock everything at the start and the vinyl mod (its in the description)
dont worry u can disable the unlock everything after u buy the car.

In your game all cut scene are coming but my there is no cut scene
you probably downloaded a compressed version in which cut scenes are not there. you need to download another version

True my dad was also the one who introduce me to this game back in 2008 along with gta sa and vice city so this is one of my first 3 games i played back when i was a kid

literally graphics are the least important part... I enjoyed so many ps1 games with shit graphics and I loved it so much
kids are so closed minded these days...
this game is still literally 10 times more fun than modern nfs titles even though I played through it way too many times and I still haven't got bored of it...
Today's gamers writing off older games because the graphics are old or the controls are weird is genuinely sad.
