This game was the follow-up to Terminator Salvation, using the same guns and a similar cabinet, but with a variety of improvements. As the beginning of the video mentions, the audio has to be captured separately from a microphone, since most arcade machines do not output audio through DVI/HDMI.

I’m not big into games but I played this one on a whim today and it was enjoyable to say the least. I can see why it’s addictive
Now I kinda wish this would release on all platforms. looks like a really fun game!
Even if it did it would never be the same...the vibration, weight, and realism of the gun is one of the main things that made this game so memorable.

The only weight y make it feel same is by making it hdmi plug in play with controller being gun that vibrates it

Some of the best Aliens games never made it to console or pc and were only released on Arcade. It's very unfortunate.

Played this on a ferry to the Netherlands, very enjoyable but it does love to eat your wallet
Like every Raw Thrills games, your damage is measured by how long you didn't get damaged. The longer you survive, the larger the damage you take. That's why you'll spent a lot of money for completing this game.

I almost 1cc'd the entire Jurassic Park Raw Thrills run and I died once after I shoot the civilian carelessly near the end of the Spinosaur level.

I had to say,other than house of the dead and terminator salvation,this is one of my favourite arcade shooters

I missed the opportunity to play this game until it was repackaged as Alien Covenant. It's a fun shooter, but hell it's HARD.
Feels weird seeing the smart gun and not the pulse rifles in the hands of the soldiers.

Killing Aliens without them doing that hissing pain noice they normally do is honestly downright disappointing, it takes away any fun of purging those damn xenos.

Those this game take place after Alien Resurrection? Those alien warriors look similar to those that appear in the resurrection movie, but with smaller bio-tubes.

Probably an era before the Pulse Rifle was made (since each Alien movie had different guns)
They used the M4 instead because the game booth used a remote based off of the M4. It depends on the remote.
This game either takes place in a different universe where the Colonial Marines didn't exist or humanity didn't have a chance to establish them.

They are the same size as in the movies. Maybe you need to get your eyes checked?
At 6:30, that chestburster clearly was not the same size as any of the ones in the movies. It was way bigger.
@@boysponge705 There are several large aliens in the game it you watch all of the chapters. It has nothing to do with the devs "being high," it comes from the franchise itself of the xenomorphs taking on characteristics of their hosts (see how the Aliens design changed throughout the films, or the dog alien from Alien 3, etc.). Larger xenos come from having spawned within larger hosts - not all have to spawn from within humans.

I don’t know whether this game is rated T for teen, or M for mature.
Arcades have their own classification system called the AAMA ratings. These use a Green/Yellow/Red label system; Aliens is classed as: "Yellow - Animated Violence Mild" which is essentially a T rating.
@@PrimeTimeAmusements Are there even any arcade games with the Red rating? Considering arcades are meant for all ages after all.
...but I do question how the rating system works considering Xenomorphs being dismembered and blown apart is apparently classified as mild violence.
