Released in October 2004, Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (or THUG2 for short) is the sixth game in the Tony Hawk series. This iteration of Tony Hawk brings players into the World Destruction Tour where it is up to you to create the most mayhem and make the losers pay for the trip. At this past Awesome Games Done Quick, $1,025,000 was raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. It only took a week of continuous streaming, 18,000 donors, and many many runners to achieve. A big thanks to everyone responsible for these amazing numbers, what a humbling achievement. For comparison, last year's event raised just under $500,000.

I'm so glad Chrno actually had an audience this year compared to last year. Last year, it was pretty much just him and Znernicus (super bro for sticking around last year for his run) and whoever was in charge of timekeeping and reading donations during his run.

TH's games are underrated during the AGDQ/SGDG imo.
You're correct. But you also said there is skill, I much appreciate the skilled player. Even if I played bunch of times these games back (mostly THPS') and I can't remember most of the objectives in each level, I do like to watch a speedrunn of this game. Wish they were just a few more people enjoying the speedrun.
You may also have a point that for a guy who never played this game (or Tony Hawk's) before, it's possibly too cloudy/messy for him to enjoy the run.

yeah it would be fun to see more of. but being that you can complete THPS3 in 5 minutes makes them just bad since people join the stream late and miss a whole game. but something like american wasteland would take some while longer.
The ending was the best, I didn´t know you could do that on classic mode.
You should edit the videos so they start when the actual run or commentary starts. Not sure about everyone else, but I find gamers plugging things in off-screen quite boring.

Every time the guy goes to read out donations from the most important people, you know, the ones donating money, the douche in the back cuts him off. That is rude and just plain pisses me off.

I feel bad for this guy. Whenever I watch a live run of his, there's never anybody in the audience. At least no way near the amount that watches most other runs.

Technically that's where it starts. Even though I never watch through it myself I don't find it annoying, it kind of makes sense why they include it in imo but I get your point of view as well.

Sure the start of the run is in the description and the uploads are one whole video segmented into multiple videos dividing them per game...but if this is a VOD, shouldn't it be a little more straight to the point?
Does anyone know what improvements THEMOD1.3 would bring? Are speedruns legit using modified .exe files?
They are not legit like that. Using any user-created material to aid them in the speedrun would be considered a hack.
KevoGamin' Sometimes they allow you to qualify for different categories though. If there was enough interest I'm sure a THEMOD1.3 category would be made for runners to do.
TheNewFlesh That may be a little late but with "THEMOD" you can increase the screen resolution for thug 2 and it fixes a bug when using focus mode

May be a bit weird, but I never watch a speedrun that is less than forty five long. Anything under that is a waste. There are a few exceptions though. Like anything mario,zelda or metroid related.
