Just night a new tripod and have tested it out a little bit. Hoping to have as good of videos as you guys have. I’ll be rocking my Tristar cobra 3 12 ga with a 28” barrel with a Carlson’s turkey choke 660 constriction with the federal grand slam #6 shot. Hopefully you guys have a great season this upcoming season !
Not a .555 fan but the IC gets my vote. IC .570 with Apex #9 is what I prefer, but I realize y’all are limited to #8 and larger. Keep up the pattern series. Really nice content.
Indian creek is tighter and more uniform . I just bought my 301 20 gauge yesterday and ordered the 9 shot in apex gt20 testing the factory choke first the buying the Indian creek choke if I can find one lol It will be either the .555 or .562 the guys from apex said either one will b awsome
Thought the comp n choke was meh..the IC was great if you want a hot core. If you are trying to kill a turkey 20 yards or in it would be a bit to tight for my liking. To be honest I really like the stock choke that came with my 301 20 gauge.👌👍
Another great video the Indian Creek is a bit tight for my liking but it threw a great pattern. I’d rather have the comp n choke pattern. I don’t own a 301 in 20 yet but my Tristar with the .555 IC looks like yours. I switched to a tightwad and it’s more to my liking. I’d love to see more tests on the Stevens 320.
No problems just I love holosun’s so my main hunting rigs have em on With that said I’ll be testing a bunch of reflex sights this year on the pattern series and will review them all and find the one I like the best etc

Hey Jake, I got a Jebs .560 for my Benelli SBE3 20 gauge and the patterns with federal TSS 7/9 blend are unsatisfactory honestly. I’m wondering if a tighter choke or a more open choke would be better ? I know Benelli’s have small bores so I’m thinking a more open choke
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA The pattern is more open than I would like. I know if you have too tight of a choke for your shotgun barrel’s internal diameter then it can have adverse effects with TSS, which is why I was thinking of a more open choke to resolve this
It could I can’t really help with a true honest answer but my go to when I first pattern a gun is more open than most as I find it matches what I want in a pattern 7/10 times

The IC is pretty tight however it has been very consistent with good patterns and no blow outs so far. Great video as always boys 🇺🇸

The 320 is coming shortly getting it all fixed up with a reflex so it’s all centered up

The indian creek blew open slightly but not enough to ruin the pattern...the .570 probably is lights out!

i like them both, i think if i was to use TSS id go with #8.
In ‘12/20 gauges the 8’s really do shine
I’m running the Federal #9 with a Carlson .660 and the At3 Aro. Maybe I will get to squeeze the Ol trigger on her this weekend if I’m lucky.
