I just love how real you are in bravely showing us a reseller's true-life storage organisation. I go through a ridiculous number of steps collecting my home-made lighting setup gear, all of which drives my family nuts as I set it up on the kitchen bench...but that's where the best day light is...I'd be ever so grateful (and so would be family) for a proper lightbox. The photo box would be amazing for my reselling business. I live in an apartment and there is not enough light. I have to add flash and photograph during the day in order to showcase details of the items I’m reselling. As a teacher I do all my reselling in the evening after coming home from teaching all day. Thanks for the tour! Your set up is almost as HUGE as I imagined. Haha I’m a small reseller, my inventory fits in two Rubbermaid containers that fit under the bed.
I have a white sheet on an old coffee table in front of an east window. I pray for sun then wait till it not shining directly on table but needs to be before 1 pm. 🤣🤣 and it’s South Dakota, soooo come on spring! Natural light is like a unicorn here. Maybe I’ll picture all summer then make that the death pile for winter. (Yeah right!) Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Becky for the tour of your space! I’m so happy for you! My friend & I started The Shoe Hound not quite 2 years ago. We are quickly learning how much space is needed even divided between 2 homes. She does the front end (sourcing, cleaning, logging & pricing) & I do the back end (photographing, storing , shipping & accounting). My front bedroom is converted into a shoe storage space from floor to ceiling & my guest room houses some shipping materials & I photograph on the window seat as that has the best lighting in the house. I should bite the bullet & buy a photo box to use in the front room, but have put it off. I guess I count the photo box as a want instead of a need. 😊 Thanks for all your videos & insights!

oh man - Becky! That photo box would be a game changer for me. I have a dedicated space for my reselling but it doesn't have any natural light so I (obviously) have to use artificial light - which is fine EXCEPT the room is painted yellow. So all my photos have a yellow cast to them! It take a while to color correct and edit every photo for sure. Having a photo box like that one would tighten up the process so much! Regardless of the photo box situation - thanks for all you do on here to bring joy and laughter and education to the masses! :)
I hope this comment isn’t too late. I would love the light box! My husband and I were just talking about purchasing one. I’m currently using my baby’s nursery to take pictures because it is freshly painted, but the lighting isn’t great. A light box would be so useful for us. Since trying to sell only shoes lighting has definitely been an issue, the light box would definitely be a game changer for me by allowing me to present my shoes better on ebay. I love your channel and I have learned a lot from you, thank you

I would love your photo box. I live in a house built in the early 1900’s and the lighting is awful. Good luck on the giveaway. Have you tried laying your items on a white poster board with a regular lamp? It’s probably not as good as a light box but having a completely smooth white surface does help with lighting.
Oh my gosh, a light box would be amazing! My current setup is a white shower curtain on a pool table, draped over some boxes in the back so I have a backdrop. And all the area around the shower curtain looks like your desk before you cleaned it, haha. Thanks for sharing!
Hey Becky, I just started my resell business. I found your UA-cam videos, watching your video on inventory and shipping has helped me so much. The one thing that I have struggled with is my photos so I think the photo box would be a great to improve my business. Also, I like your videos because your are so realistic and honest which is so refreshing for those of just starting our reselling businesses.
I literally take pictures on my couch as the backdrop or on my pillows with only natural light, which is not long enough right now. Soooo I would be soooo appreciative of this gift from you. ❤
Hi Becky! I’ve been watching your channel since February 2022 which is shortly after I decided to start taking reselling seriously. One of the things that I feel that sets me back as a reseller is my lighting situation. When I worked in the upstairs loft in my house, I have to rely on natural sunlight in order to take pictures, and that can get really frustrating really fast. Because of this, I have been putting off selling things like small hard goods, shoes, purses, accessories, and more. Having a light box would make my life SO much easier and would allow me to start taking more photos at night when I have more of the energy to do so. I’m also a very busy college student and spend most of my days on campus that I commute to from my small studio apartment. I don’t really have the space for a full blown lighting kit and a backdrop. I DO, however, have room for a light box. I’ve been taking a pause on reselling mainly for the lighting reason, as I’m a perfectionist and extremely value good photographs for my listings (but your content also instilled that in me!). I’d really love to be able to find my passion again in reselling through not stressing over being able to photograph only at certain times of the day. Thank you for having this giveaway and for also always putting out the most informative content for clothing resellers!

Dang, You would think by now I would have a good handle on photos, but I still feel like it is the bane of my existence. Having a dedicated space with proper lighting would be huge! Thanks for sharing your space - I loved seeing it and also always love when you talk about planner things too!
Becky, I have enjoyed watching your videos and always look forward to getting that notification on my phone that you have posted a new video. I have learned so much from you. I am a stay at home, mother of 3 who simply cant afford daycare or childcare in order for me to get out and get a job (as cliche as that might sound its totally the truth in my area) my husband works so i agreed to stay home. Being a SAHM has been the most challenging job I have ever had, prior to I was a dementia/alzheimer nurse for 10 years and was getting burnt out and I was more than happy to be at home with my babies. After so long though I started to fall into a rut of feeling like I wasnt contributing to the household, especially financially which kind of bothered me. My one and only hobby was thifting. I was doing it for my family and myself mostly until I got into re-selling. I still consider myself a "newbie " ive only been doing this less than a year and i still have so much to learn. My biggest obstacle is storage and coming up with a system for me to stay organized and im the type that needs to have a schedule, plan, and routine or else im not successful and having little kids has not made any of that easy to come for me 😂 so my business and inventory is all upstairs in my husband and I's bedroom where i am always struggling to take pictures, it would be comical to most if they would see how I have to do it. It takes me so long to get good pictures because the lighting is only good in the room for a very few short hours a day and never when i can actually sit down and devote the time the listings deserve. We all know that photos are key to any listing and any sale. Regardless of whomever you pick i want you to know how kind and generous you are for doing such a giveaway like this. It truly speaks volumes for the person, wife, mother, and teacher you are. I hope they all know how lucky and fortunate they are to have someone like you in their corner. I wanted you to know that. I currently take photos in our walk in closet because it is the only corner of the house that we have for me and the lighting is awful! I'm just a casual part time reseller, but I believe this photo box could help motivate me to list more items and create much better listings! Let me just start by saying, I my reselling career 2 years ago you were one of the resellers I began this journey with and have learned so much from you. Not only in my reselling business, but in my drive to keep going. With your charismatic personality, even through the not so pleasant times you have a gift of encouraging others to not give up, just simply by showing up for yourself and allowing us to share this journey with you! Being chosen to receive the photo box would be a game changer for me. Not really having a designated area, I am often photographing in my living room, on my dining room table etc….. It would allow me to photograph in my basement and have a designated space to photograph. In turn, would hopefully allow my girls to support my side hustle as it is not invading their space😊. Just like many people that choose to resell I do it because it is what works best for me. As a single mom I have a demanding role that requires my time to be entangled in their schedules. It would be nice to just simply have a space to grow my business with the capability of doing it at all hours of the day.

OMGoodness Becky you are so awesome offering the light box and sharing your space. I wish I had a basement. In SC it's very rare. When you talked about the stuff spilling everywhere my husband looked over at me. Lol I had stuff pretty organized but we just acquired 3 small children (11 months, 3 yr old and 4 yr old) unexpectedly. So we had to clear out 2 bedrooms. This would change so much for me because listing has become much harder and I currently use those project boards that are trifold. No matter what, you are still amazing!

I really enjoyed seeing your business space. My space is never perfect. It’s actually in a very small space with no windows and very little way of lighting. The box would help me so much. I live with my grandfather and his house from the 60s that has never been updated. I resell from the basement so lighting is real bad. I’ve been reselling almost 2 years (in February it’ll be 2 years since my first sale). I have so many shoes and purses and belts to photograph and I always put them to them side! This would help me clean out those piles and get them out there!
A light box would be life changing! I’m happy to work hard to get my reselling business off the ground. But the amount of time and energy I spend trying to get clear, bright photos is tremendous. It would be amazing to put that time into other reselling areas as well as back into my family. This house of mine needs some light! Loved the tour 😀

Wow! I can't believe you are going to give way your light box...but then again, that's the kind of person you are. I have stuck with you because you are so genuine. Also, I sing was in choir for years and went on tour as a high school student so I can relate :) I use the bedroom in my tiny apartment to take photos because it has the best natural light. Except when it's cloudy - no photos or if I have to work super early or super late and I can't get in there during the "window" to take photos, then again no photos. So when I have a "good light day" I'll be in there for 2-3 hours trying to get pics which isn't always convenient. then I spend hours editing them, then more time removing the background... So yeah, having the light box would literally change my life. :) Thanks for doing this!

I have thought about starting to resell as a side hustle and actually just went to the Dollar General yesterday and bought $7 worth of white poster boards to use as a Lightbox...lol. I am going to start listing things I have around my house this week and me and my wife are going to go out this weekend and shop for some deals. I would love a photo box. I sell jewelry, shoes, scarfs, belts, homegoods and bags and always need to erase the back ground. With a photo booth I would not have that problem. Great tour and thanks for being honest with needing to tidy up. My office is similar and needs to be cleaned on a regular basis.

As I am attempting to do more substantial items, I have switched my focus to mostly shoes which are really difficult to get the perfect lighting on. I could so use that photo box!! Currently when I need to photograph anything I can't hang, I have to clear wall/floor space in my bedroom, set up my two softball lights, replace two of the light bulbs in the ceiling fan with daylight bulbs, and then sit on the floor to photograph. when I'm done I get to pick it all back up and move things back into place. Honestly it causes me to procrastinate photographing those items. This photo box would save the day!
Having a photo box would surely help for showing item details. My ring light I picked up just doesn't give the brightness I was looking for. Living in an older home built back in the 50's with minimal light fixtures doesn't help. Thank you for your content! And to show that my home isn't the only one that gets to look like that sometimes makes me not feel so bad!

It’s very sweet of you to be holding a giveaway. For my set up, it would be super helpful to have the light box since most of my reselling hours are in the evening after my main career is done for day but the room I’m able to dedicate to that purpose has no windows.

Becky, I'm reselling out of an old cabin that's less than 1,000 sq ft. And it doesn't have much light. So having a light box would be SO helpful. Edited to add: To clarify, this is not just a cabin that I'm using for my reselling... it's also the cabin where I live! Lol. I bought it and down-sized when I retired.
@@beckyparkcoIt's an old log cabin, was used for many years as a church. Hauling in wood for the past 4 winters has been FAR from romantic! Lol. (I'm "next door" to you, in southern MO, so you and I have very similar weather!) Dealing with constant firewood has become more than I can physically handle, in my mid-60s, so I'm changing to propane heat.

Right now to photograph shoes, I have two pieces of foam board from the dollar tree taped together, and I have to get down on the floor, which is getting tough as I age (I just turned 50 last fall). I don’t usually put my name in for giveaways, but a photo box would be such a blessing for me and make taking my photos much less strenuous on my body. Like you, I was a high school teacher and loved my kids! I’m sure that’s why I was so drawn to you and your channel, because I can relate to having so much going on and admire all that you give back. I don’t know how you do it all, and appreciate your honesty and respect for yourself in saying that you have to cut back and take care of yourself and your family in 2024. About 1 1/2 years ago I got really sick and couldn’t do it anymore. I hurt so badly that I couldn’t get out of bed, could barely stand and walk, and could hardly write, so I couldn’t teach anymore. After close to a year of different doctors and tests, I was finally diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis with spondylitis and have started the journey of trying to find the best medicine for me and learning how to live without being able to do so many things I used to take for granted. I started reselling to keep myself active on my good days and, of course, to make a little money. It is something I enjoy doing, and it’s allowed me to still be able to do some things for and with my 10 and 11 year old kids. The photography is the thing that limits the amount I can list the most. I have a makeshift area of the floor that I clear off, lay a white sheet on, and use a couple cheap ring lights to make pictures. All the required motion to place things to photograph at multiple angles, measure, and zoom in on details on the floor just really hurts. I just can’t do as much as I want with this setup, so a photo box would be game changing for me and allow me to do a lot more listing. With that set up, I could probably even do a couple listings on the days that my pain levels are extra high, which would be amazing! I truly appreciate all the extra time you take to teach resellers like myself and love learning new things from you and the other resellers you gather and feature on your channel. I don’t envy you having to choose someone for your giveaway, as there are so many comments from people who would benefit greatly from your generosity. And, every video you post is like a giveaway for me! I always learn something and feel a little more confident that I can do something with this little business because of your positivity! I would absolutely love a photo box! We currently rent a small trailer and I use a small bedroom with AWFUL lighting right now, which definitely isn't helpful for my quickly growing resale & consignment business. Oh, Becky, that box would be a Godsend to me. My home is in the woods and the lighting is horrible. I just retired early to take care of my mom so my photo hours are limited to evening hours. I use my poshmark earnings for our health insurance so I’m not able to put my business on the back burner. Thank you for considering me!!! Love your new home!!

I have one room in my house that has good natural light, but I still struggle with getting crisp, bright photos! I don't even attempt taking pictures on non-sunny days. It just is not worth it. I don't know if the light box has been given away. But it would make a huge difference in my resell business. I sell part time so that I can budget travel most the time. I don't make huge money but I volunteer cleaning for free places to stay to make up for most the costs of traveling. I have a listing space at my mother's house and have confiscated a room and her best lamps for my resell space in exchange for listing her things as well. A decent light box would give me the chance to return at least three of her lights to her and still be able to take decent photos.
I would love the black light box because at this time I’m taking my pics on my kitchen table with only a white tri-fold puzzle board. Have been interested in buying some box lights but your black box would be better.

I have never used a photo box. I have been looking at getting something because my lighting is terrible and I think it hinders my sales, which are minuscule at this point. I am looking to retire in May and I am hoping to scale up to try and supplement my income. A box may he a great answer for all the glass etc that I hate listing but need to. I think we all have those things. Lol. Anyway thanks for all the content you put out. I love the honesty.

I would use that little blue bag as a daily fruit bag - I have a problem remembering to eat fruit everyday. I have a container with apple/banana/orange on the counter. I try to empty the container by end of day.
I am in the middle of moving to a new home to get closer to my grand son who was recently diagnosed with Autism and need some intensive therapy. I want to support his parents. My new home has an area I can use for reselling but has horrible lighting in the space available. I am upping my reselling game which was previously just for extra income but now all the funds will go to pay all the insurance co-pays for my grand son’s speech, occupational and physical therapy. The light box was be so very helpful to take great photos so I can sell more inventory.

Not sure if you already picked someone, but I would LOVE to have a photobox like that!! I have (2) little girls, 4 and 18 months and I work 32 hours a week outside of the home. I started my reselling journey Sept 2022 to try to get to a point where I could cut back working even more to have more time with my girls and supplement my income. I really want a third child, but financially it just would be a challenge and also a burden if I stop working outside the home. So really I'm trying to get better at reselling to step away from my current position outside the home. I have started to sell better on Poshmark, but struggle with getting my pictures done as I don't really have a place. I live in a 2-story townhouse, and I run my business from there. My photos are all taken on my kitchen table, posed on the stairs, or hanging from my closet door. I would love to have an actual designated space where I can take my photos and make them look more professional (I try, but there's only so much I can do). I would love to have a photo box!

I go through a ridiculous number of steps collecting my home-made lighting setup gear, all of which drives my family nuts as I set it up on the kitchen bench...but that's where the best day light is...I'd be ever so grateful (and so would be family) for a proper lightbox. I have to add flash and photograph during the day in order to showcase details of the items I’m reselling. As a teacher I do all my reselling in the evening after coming home from teaching all day. I have a white sheet on an old coffee table in front of an east window. I pray for sun then wait till it not shining directly on table but needs to be before 1 pm. 🤣🤣 and it’s South Dakota, soooo come on spring! Natural light is like a unicorn here. Thank you Becky for the tour of your space! I’m so happy for you! My friend & I started The Shoe Hound not quite 2 years ago. We are quickly learning how much space is needed even divided between 2 homes. She does the front end (sourcing, cleaning, logging & pricing) & I do the back end (photographing, storing , shipping & accounting). My front bedroom is converted into a shoe storage space from floor to ceiling & my guest room houses some shipping materials & I photograph on the window seat as that has the best lighting in the house. I should bite the bullet & buy a photo box to use in the front room, but have put it off. I guess I count the photo box as a want instead of a need. 😊 Thanks for all your videos & insights!

oh man - Becky! That photo box would be a game changer for me. I have a dedicated space for my reselling but it doesn't have any natural light so I (obviously) have to use artificial light - which is fine EXCEPT the room is painted yellow. So all my photos have a yellow cast to them! It take a while to color correct and edit every photo for sure. Having a photo box like that one would tighten up the process so much! Regardless of the photo box situation - thanks for all you do on here to bring joy and laughter and education to the masses! :)

I would love your photo box. I live in a house built in the early 1900’s and the lighting is awful. Good luck on the giveaway. Have you tried laying your items on a white poster board with a regular lamp? It’s probably not as good as a light box but having a completely smooth white surface does help with lighting.

Oh my gosh, a light box would be amazing! My current setup is a white shower curtain on a pool table, draped over some boxes in the back so I have a backdrop. And all the area around the shower curtain looks like your desk before you cleaned it, haha. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Becky! I’ve been watching your channel since February 2022 which is shortly after I decided to start taking reselling seriously. One of the things that I feel that sets me back as a reseller is my lighting situation. When I worked in the upstairs loft in my house, I have to rely on natural sunlight in order to take pictures, and that can get really frustrating really fast. Because of this, I have been putting off selling things like small hard goods, shoes, purses, accessories, and more. Having a light box would make my life SO much easier and would allow me to start taking more photos at night when I have more of the energy to do so. I’m also a very busy college student and spend most of my days on campus that I commute to from my small studio apartment. I don’t really have the space for a full blown lighting kit and a backdrop. I DO, however, have room for a light box. I’ve been taking a pause on reselling mainly for the lighting reason, as I’m a perfectionist and extremely value good photographs for my listings (but your content also instilled that in me!). I’d really love to be able to find my passion again in reselling through not stressing over being able to photograph only at certain times of the day. Becky, I have enjoyed watching your videos and always look forward to getting that notification on my phone that you have posted a new video. I have learned so much from you. I am a stay at home, mother of 3 who simply cant afford daycare or childcare in order for me to get out and get a job (as cliche as that might sound its totally the truth in my area) my husband works so i agreed to stay home. Being a SAHM has been the most challenging job I have ever had, prior to I was a dementia/alzheimer nurse for 10 years and was getting burnt out and I was more than happy to be at home with my babies. After so long though I started to fall into a rut of feeling like I wasnt contributing to the household, especially financially which kind of bothered me. My one and only hobby was thifting. I was doing it for my family and myself mostly until I got into re-selling. I still consider myself a "newbie " ive only been doing this less than a year and i still have so much to learn. My biggest obstacle is storage and coming up with a system for me to stay organized and im the type that needs to have a schedule, plan, and routine or else im not successful and having little kids has not made any of that easy to come for me 😂 so my business and inventory is all upstairs in my husband and I's bedroom where i am always struggling to take pictures, it would be comical to most if they would see how I have to do it. It takes me so long to get good pictures because the lighting is only good in the room for a very few short hours a day and never when i can actually sit down and devote the time the listings deserve. We all know that photos are key to any listing and any sale. Regardless of whomever you pick i want you to know how kind and generous you are for doing such a giveaway like this. It truly speaks volumes for the person, wife, mother, and teacher you are. I hope they all know how lucky and fortunate they are to have someone like you in their corner. I wanted you to know that. Never lose sight of it and thank you for all your insightful content you provide to all of us. It really is helpful. I currently take photos in our walk in closet because it is the only corner of the house that we have for me and the lighting is awful! Let me just start by saying, I my reselling career 2 years ago you were one of the resellers I began this journey with and have learned so much from you. Not only in my reselling business, but in my drive to keep going. With your charismatic personality, even through the not so pleasant times you have a gift of encouraging others to not give up, just simply by showing up for yourself and allowing us to share this journey with you!
Being chosen to receive the photo box would be a game changer for me. Not really having a designated area, I am often photographing in my living room, on my dining room table etc….. It would allow me to photograph in my basement and have a designated space to photograph. In turn, would hopefully allow my girls to support my side hustle as it is not invading their space😊. Just like many people that choose to resell I do it because it is what works best for me. As a single mom I have a demanding role that requires my time to be entangled in their schedules. It would be nice to just simply have a space to grow my business with the capability of doing it at all hours of the day.

OMGoodness Becky you are so awesome offering the light box and sharing your space. I wish I had a basement. In SC it's very rare. When you talked about the stuff spilling everywhere my husband looked over at me. Lol I had stuff pretty organized but we just acquired 3 small children (11 months, 3 yr old and 4 yr old) unexpectedly. So we had to clear out 2 bedrooms. This would change so much for me because listing has become much harder and I currently use those project boards that are trifold. No matter what, you are still amazing!

I really enjoyed seeing your business space. My space is never perfect. It’s actually in a very small space with no windows and very little way of lighting. The box would help me so much. I live with my grandfather and his house from the 60s that has never been updated. I resell from the basement so lighting is real bad. I’ve been reselling almost 2 years (in February it’ll be 2 years since my first sale). I have so many shoes and purses and belts to photograph and I always put them to them side! This would help me clean out those piles and get them out there!

Wow! I can't believe you are going to give way your light box...but then again, that's the kind of person you are. I have stuck with you because you are so genuine. Also, I sing was in choir for years and went on tour as a high school student so I can relate :) I use the bedroom in my tiny apartment to take photos because it has the best natural light. Except when it's cloudy - no photos or if I have to work super early or super late and I can't get in there during the "window" to take photos, then again no photos. So when I have a "good light day" I'll be in there for 2-3 hours trying to get pics which isn't always convenient. then I spend hours editing them, then more time removing the background... I would love a photo box. I sell jewelry, shoes, scarfs, belts, homegoods and bags and always need to erase the back ground. With a photo booth I would not have that problem. I could so use that photo box!! Currently when I need to photograph anything I can't hang, I have to clear wall/floor space in my bedroom, set up my two softball lights, replace two of the light bulbs in the ceiling fan with daylight bulbs, and then sit on the floor to photograph. when I'm done I get to pick it all back up and move things back into place. Honestly it causes me to procrastinate photographing those items. This photo box would save the day!

Having a photo box would surely help for showing item details. My ring light I picked up just doesn't give the brightness I was looking for. Living in an older home built back in the 50's with minimal light fixtures doesn't help. Thank you for your content! And to show that my home isn't the only one that gets to look like that sometimes makes me not feel so bad!

Thank you for the tour. I have recently been put on disability and my husband and I have been doing some reselling to make up a little income. We live in a small ranch house and I want to move my items in my basement like yours looks so gives me some ideas. Would love to use a photo box down there instead of having to do upstairs in a room with windows then carrying downstairs.

It’s very sweet of you to be holding a giveaway. For my set up, it would be super helpful to have the light box since most of my reselling hours are in the evening after my main career is done for day but the room I’m able to dedicate to that purpose has no windows.

Becky, I'm reselling out of an old cabin that's less than 1,000 sq ft. And it doesn't have much light. So having a light box would be SO helpful. Edited to add: To clarify, this is not just a cabin that I'm using for my reselling... it's also the cabin where I live! Lol. I bought it and down-sized when I retired.

@@beckyparkcoIt's an old log cabin, was used for many years as a church. Hauling in wood for the past 4 winters has been FAR from romantic! Lol. (I'm "next door" to you, in southern MO, so you and I have very similar weather!) Dealing with constant firewood has become more than I can physically handle, in my mid-60s, so I'm changing to propane heat.

Right now to photograph shoes, I have two pieces of foam board from the dollar tree taped together, and I have to get down on the floor, which is getting tough as I age (I just turned 50 last fall). I've tried to photograph them there so that I don't have to drag things back and forth from storage to home, but due to lighting and shadows, I just can't. @beckyparkco yes I love it! It was so hectic in my home before. Not to mention, my house is on the market, so there would be no way to sell it like it was before I moved my inventory into a unit. I have ALOT, like I shouldn't be allowed to source ever again, but I can't be stopped. 🤣🤷♀️
I don’t usually put my name in for giveaways, but a photo box would be such a blessing for me and make taking my photos much less strenuous on my body. Like you, I was a high school teacher and loved my kids! I’m sure that’s why I was so drawn to you and your channel, because I can relate to having so much going on and admire all that you give back. I don’t know how you do it all, and appreciate your honesty and respect for yourself in saying that you have to cut back and take care of yourself and your family in 2024.
About 1 1/2 years ago I got really sick and couldn’t do it anymore. I hurt so badly that I couldn’t get out of bed, could barely stand and walk, and could hardly write, so I couldn’t teach anymore. After close to a year of different doctors and tests, I was finally diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis with spondylitis and have started the journey of trying to find the best medicine for me and learning how to live without being able to do so many things I used to take for granted. I started reselling to keep myself active on my good days and, of course, to make a little money. It is something I enjoy doing, and it’s allowed me to still be able to do some things for and with my 10 and 11 year old kids.
The photography is the thing that limits the amount I can list the most. I have a makeshift area of the floor that I clear off, lay a white sheet on, and use a couple cheap ring lights to make pictures. All the required motion to place things to photograph at multiple angles, measure, and zoom in on details on the floor just really hurts. I just can’t do as much as I want with this setup, so a photo box would be game changing for me and allow me to do a lot more listing. With that set up, I could probably even do a couple listings on the days that my pain levels are extra high, which would be amazing!
I truly appreciate all the extra time you take to teach resellers like myself and love learning new things from you and the other resellers you gather and feature on your channel. I don’t envy you having to choose someone for your giveaway, as there are so many comments from people who would benefit greatly from your generosity. And, every video you post is like a giveaway for me! I always learn something and feel a little more confident that I can do something with this little business because of your positivity!

The photo booth would help so much. I recently had my first baby and I started doing reselling as a way to earn income while I’m off work and plan to expand this into something bigger. Right now I try to take pictures outside but the weather is so bad and the house we are renting has the worst lighting (it’s an old house) the lights look yellow. Anyways, thank you for sharing all this great information on your channel and doing this giveaway 😊 I really enjoy and learn from every video.

I would absolutely love a photo box! We currently rent a small trailer and I use a small bedroom with AWFUL lighting right now, which definitely isn't helpful for my quickly growing resale & consignment business. It's one thing to sell my own items with poor lighting - it's another to try and sell my consignment client's items. Otherwise - thank you for your tour! It's giving me major organization inspo!
Not to mention it's CONSTANTLY raining where I live so I can't rely on natural lighting at all :( boo

Oh, Becky, that box would be a Godsend to me. My home is in the woods and the lighting is horrible. I just retired early to take care of my mom so my photo hours are limited to evening hours. I use my poshmark earnings for our health insurance so I’m not able to put my business on the back burner. Thank you for considering me!!! Love your new home!!

Thanks for the tour! It is great that you have such a large dedicated space for reselling! I would love to win the photo box giveaway. I have one room in my house that has good natural light, but I still struggle with getting crisp, bright photos! I don't even attempt taking pictures on non-sunny days. It just is not worth it. I don't know if the light box has been given away. But it would make a huge difference in my resell business. I sell part time so that I can budget travel most the time. I don't make huge money but I volunteer cleaning for free places to stay to make up for most the costs of traveling. I have a listing space at my mother's house and have confiscated a room and her best lamps for my resell space in exchange for listing her things as well. A decent light box would give me the chance to return at least three of her lights to her and still be able to take decent photos.

I have never used a photo box. I have been looking at getting something because my lighting is terrible and I think it hinders my sales, which are minuscule at this point. I am looking to retire in May and I am hoping to scale up to try and supplement my income. A box may he a great answer for all the glass etc that I hate listing but need to. I think we all have those things. Lol. Anyway thanks for all the content you put out. I love the honesty.

Hi do not have a photo box but it would be a game changer for the shoes and smaller items that I am challenged with. I’m currently using the top of a white dresser and have put white tissue paper on the wall behind it to give some sort of white background appearance. I have been reselling for one year and was happy to have had a $10,000 profit in my first year I’m doing it part time to help pay for private school for my daughter. I am in the middle of moving to a new home to get closer to my grand son who was recently diagnosed with Autism and need some intensive therapy. I want to support his parents. My new home has an area I can use for reselling but has horrible lighting in the space available. I am upping my reselling game which was previously just for extra income but now all the funds will go to pay all the insurance co-pays for my grand son’s speech, occupational and physical therapy. The light box was be so very helpful to take great photos so I can sell more inventory.

Not sure if you already picked someone, but I would LOVE to have a photobox like that!! I have (2) little girls, 4 and 18 months and I work 32 hours a week outside of the home. I started my reselling journey Sept 2022 to try to get to a point where I could cut back working even more to have more time with my girls and supplement my income. I really want a third child, but financially it just would be a challenge and also a burden if I stop working outside the home. So really I'm trying to get better at reselling to step away from my current position outside the home. I have started to sell better on Poshmark, but struggle with getting my pictures done as I don't really have a place.
