It isn’t until your controller dies at the beginning of a race that you truly realize that it’s often better to just start in last place
People suck so much at the beginning of any race that has so much as a slight turn, unless you somehow manage to get a good head start in front you get absolutely reamed at the first turn
Also imagine the chaos that would entail if this game had open mics, you’d drive pass someone and get called 15 slurs

First race ISAD messed up in the countache multiple times, and second race he had nos at the end. They weren’t able to compete, they just got lucky

I'm glad that the 2nd & 3rd place finisher was just simply mad and didn't technically extend to start harassing/messing around with you right there. Because once I've heard that someone being a sore loser technically tried to report the winner to Ubisoft accusing them for using 3rd party tools to win.

In project gotham 3 I was doing my first online races because there were few players left online so i joined a race and the other player was easily always ahead of me for most of the race. At the very last corner i was about 2 -3 seconds behind and decided to ebrake turn, i came out of the corner with a lot of speed so i reached and beat the other player to finish line. He then kicked me from the lobby 🤣🤣
