By Biblical definition they arent even following the Bible. I was a gay man, and it’s life that can be hard- no doubt when it comes to God and what he thinks. The lgbt+ community wasn’t for me! There are some good gay guys out there, but most I found were scoffers and vulgar toward the Lord.i didn’t belong around them at all, and felt so sorry for their soul. I’m neither gay or straight these days. In fact, I have no sex life and really don’t desire one. I just want to make my Lord happy and love him. Please Jesus forgive me for my sodomy and for losing sight of you. 🙏 ❤️✝️

Similarly God is indeed in control of everything, but that doesn't mean he chooses for us. We are fully responsible by our actions because God gave us conscience, we fully know when we're lying or doing something bad. A wonderful testimony. I, too, was delivered from homosexuality. In my case, He taught me the importance of marriage. At first, when I couldn't understand it, I was crying, (praying), telling Him that it was who I was. There wasn't condemnation in Him at all. Instead, He made me realize that all I had to do is to choose Him. Just Him. And then I did. When I focused on Jesus, it was amazing how I gradually changed. I'm not interested in the homosexuality lifestyle and it's simply because the happiness I gained in Christ can't be compared to anything I let go. Letting go of "me" let me gain the most important thing - the only One who would give me true happiness, one I never thought I could ever have.
So, for some Christians who condemn homosexuals instead of inviting them to church, I ask you to treat them like Christ has treated us. Love is more powerful than hate. And it's not only about homosexuality. No matter what the lifestyle is, without Christ, it's still the same. It still needs Him.

I was lonely, lost and struggled with sex addiction and bisexuality. Part of it was chemical as I was diagnosed as bipolar and part of it was this resentment I felt for my mother for how she treated me after she found out my dad sexually abused me. God saved me from it after a supernatural experience and I feel absolutely no lust or sexual feelings for women or have a desire to want to be admired outside of my marriage. Thank You Jesus for saving me

Thank you for telling your story. I'm very impressed, my story with God is similar, so I love it. I was sexually abused during my childhood by my uncle, who was also a leader in the christian church I belonged to. I always thought I was the guilty one and felt dirty. I kept the abuse in secret for over 10 years, sharing it only with my sister after 6 years I began, realizing that she had been abused by him too. We both took different ways in our lifes, so she regained her faith in God after years and she gave me a Bible..I thought, she's completely crazy!! .. I never wanted to believe in God after all that had happened. I was looking for a new beginning in my life, wanting to leave behind a life full of depression, guilt, rejection (bulling during the school) and abuse, I decided to go and have a new life in another country. There I met a girl and received from her all that I never got from anyone else, after another two more relationships I was really happy with her. Otherwise my sister never stopped praying for me, I was angry about her and didn't want to know anything about God. After four years of a relationship with my girlfriend.... just one day I was alone at home and heard a song (I am who You say I am) and I asked myself.. my thoughts ...who am I to you? Nobody important apparently, you didn't care what happened? At that moment I remembered that I had a Bible and I opened it and I could only see a punishing God against homosexuals. I said to God... I know you exist, but where are U?.... I would like to know You as you really are, what have you done for me? Who am I to You? At that moment I began to cry without stopping and I had comfort, I do not know how to explain it, but I was only there on the floor crying and getting answers and I knew it was Him, because I never felt anything like that before. There I was able to see Him and his love for me, then I saw my sins for the first time I was realizing it. I understood what Jesus did for me on the cross. And I said.. thank you! Now I give you my life and I repent for my sins against You and ask you to help me. You say that you make everything new, so help me to leave my sins, I need You in my life. So.... I can only say, that the God of miracles who did that for me, can do greater things for you and where the spirit of God is, there is freedom! So don't give up and trust in Jesus Christ our Saviour. He knows you and he loves you. And you are important for him. He died to give U His life.

This was someone being herself and had mental struggles about some mean and angry god that says that her way of living was wrong. I thought that that god was supposed to be nice, but he really let me down this time.

"I don't have to change His Word anymore". Wow. That is soooo powerful. It really is life-changing when you give up the struggle and just surrender yourself to Christ. The transformation that occurs when you finally repent and trust Jesus is a process. It's like the more I let go of, the more I give up to Him, the more and more I can feel Him changing my heart, my desires, my standards, everything. One problem I am currently having is that I question myself so much. Like, "Did I repent properly?". I intellectually know I did, because the sorrow and shame were real, and if I ever think about committing a sin, or if I stumble and do sin, the feeling is awful. Sin doesn't bring me pleasure anymore. It only brings me pain. Fear, shame, disappointment, remorse and grief overcome me.

Jen who is anyone to ‘disagree’ with another persons sexual preference? Who another person chooses to have a consensual sexual relationship with has nothing to do with you. And what about the homosexuals that have not come from abuse? If god makes no mistakes, then why did he ‘create’ them only to condemn them?
Amen! I pray for this repentance in my life and my wife's life and all my family and friends. I am not and have never struggled with homosexuality, but many other sins. I want my life to reflect Christ in everything I do.
Choose to believe God's Word. Without excuse. Questions, yes, but with the trust that God's trustworthiness and goodness does not change just because something we read doesn't make sense or challenges you. Powerful things will start to happen then. This sister in Christ is a testament to this. As am I.
Truly see yourself as dead to your sin. So when it comes knocking you say "that man died. He's buried in a coffin six feet under. I am a new creation and sin has no part of me," and continue on your way. If you TRULY, not "kind of" or "mostly," want to be done with those sins, the Holy Spirit will give you the power to overcome it and see it for what it is: leading you away from Jesus and depriving you of all that God has for you. Just like with this sister in Christ. Look at all that was not available to her, but God always wanted to give her, as long as she valued her own way over His way. When we Trust God, and trust that what He offers is better than the sin we enjoy, the grace is there to say "no thanks" and then "no more" to sin.
Be encouraged. Jesus has a whole other world of experiences for you, and takes us from grace to grace and faith to faith, into deeper and greater levels of relationship with Him, as we give up the sinful acts we were never meant to be attached to anyway.
We all want the type of life you mentioned. But just too weak to Fight our own flash.
Victory is found when we say yes to Jesus
@@lightme1194 Are you born again in Jesus Christ? If so, the power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He's called the Holy Spirit. God dwells in you and overcame the greatest enemy of the flesh...sin and death. Do not be deceived into thinking you're too weak. Jesus died to put the power to overcome sin and the world into you. He told us to "be perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect." Jesus will never ask us to do anything we can't accomplish with His help.
Jesus didn't die and raise again so we could wallow in the power of sin over our life, He conquered sin through His death, making Him victorious. And since He know lives in us, we are victorious. That is who we are. But we will not be victorious if we cower before the sin Jesus already defeated at the Cross. Do you know what you are called to be? The Salt and Light of the world! Do you know that, in the spirit, you sit with Jesus right now in heavenly places? Do you know that we have not been given the spirit of fear, but of Power, Love, and a Sound Mind? Jesus didn't die and raise just so we could go to Heaven someday, but so we could live as His representatives on Earth, being empowered as we believe in His promises and power, as we surrender sin and exchange our ashes to receive beauty, fear to receive strength, mourning to receive gladness, and despair to receive peace, all as we take steps of faith that He calls us to take.
Jesus lives in us! We are a new creation in Him! And we are being conformed more and more to His image as we trust and have faith in Him. That means trusting He has defeated the sin that we say is too powerful. Not for Him. Want Jesus, seek Jesus, He will walk with you and that sin will lose it's power over your life.
Because Jesus lives in us and we are being conformed to His image, let us not say anything we don't hear Him say. He never said He was too weak to defeat sin. Instead, after forty days of fasting...in the wilderness...though weak, He did not fall to any temptation of the flesh, but used God's Word to defeat Satan. Jesus was subject to human frailty like any one of us even though He had a divine nature. That divine nature did not give Him an edge over us. Jesus modeled for us what it was to be tempted and betrayed to the extreme and yet overcome. He said that we will do greater things than Him. That sounds to me like He's saying He's given us the ability to overcome sin as well through the power of the Holy Spirit.
So, Jesus didn't say sin was too powerful, instead, in His weakness He turned to God's Word. And He believed it! Jesus could have easily taken Satan up on his temptation to make Him king of all the kingdoms on Earth in exchange for bowing to him, if He didn't know who He was, why He was here, and actually believed that "God alone you shall serve."
There is an identity we have in Jesus Christ that is made up of many attributes and titles, and "too weak, defeated, won't ever be able to, Jesus can but I can, you might be able to but I can't" are not listed there. That doesn't mean that we/I don't have struggles, challenges, and sins to overcome. It means we can stand at the top of the mountain and defend the victory we've been given, instead of fighting an uphill battle to gain the victory and power that Jesus has already granted us when we received the Holy Spirit.
The path is not always clear to me, I don't always no what to do or expect, but I do know who I am as I go through it. And a victor in Jesus will go through it differently than someone who isn't sure if the battle can even be won. I know that sin has no part of me, so I will not seek it out, or indulge it if it seeks me out. I'm not perfect in this, and have my struggles, but I know that victory in Jesus Christ is real and accessible and possible. It brings a true solidness to my life, and I know more of what is meant in Scripture when it says that Jesus is the Rock, the Chief Cornerstone.
Be encouraged. As you seek Him, as you fill your mind with His Words, His thoughts, as you desire His ways, and as you truly trust and have confidence in Jesus and God's Word, desiring to be perfect as God is perfect, and trusting that Jesus will provide the grace to fulfilling that command, and believing you are what He says you are instead of what you think you are, your victories will start to grow.
Truly, get into God's Word. It is rightly called "sharper than a two-edged sword." Become adept at wielding it. It is needed for victory. And the Whole Armor of God, too. There are some amazing sermons out there on it. Dr. Charles Stanley has a Whole Armor of God prayer (Google it) that really helped me make it a reality in my life. It has helped immensely.
My favorite thing to say is what Jesus said to satan. Get thee behind me satan!
(Revelations 12:11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death. Thank you God for your Amazing Grace that continues to reach out and “Save People” as you did with me; 10yrs now of living victorious from the lesbian lifestyle!!! 🙋🏽♀️

I myself am a witness of the power of Jesus to destroy sin and the works of the devil... when God called me to repentance and faith, I was in a homosexual relationship with a woman for over 3 years and I fought God. But one day my sin felt heavy (all my sins) and I cried out to God to set me free and remove the burden I was feeling and He did... I have been saved and born again since 2012 and I am loving every moment of it.
If anyone reading this can feel the weight of their sins and see what they are doing before God... repent and call upon Him for salvation and He will save you and change you and give you new desires.

@@eternalfarts Almighty God. He is all-powerful to deliver people from their sins. Once you are filled with the Holy Spirit, your old desires are removed in the sense that now you will not want to willingly succumb to them. Now, you will still have temptations, so depending on how strong your temptations are you will still fall into your old desires, but that's just because you're human and you have to learn to lean on Jesus for strength to overcome those temptations. The desire to willingly be holy is at the front of your mind, above all else, when you make Jesus the Lord of your life; even when you do fall into sin you will feel remorse and sorrow because you know that what you've done is wrong. When you accept Him as your King, He will fill you with the desire to seek Him and learn more about His character and will. The change is immediate, but producing the fruit is sometimes a little slower. So you will wrestle violently with your desires at first, but as you get used to that specific temptation being hurled at you, and also as you learn to lean on God for everything, it will get easier to resist it and that old desire will fade away and you'll be renewed and refreshed in your mind. Jesus frees us from sin, and that means that our old selves (for me, my old self was a lying thief who dishonoured my parents, was mean to my siblings, and failed to follow God wholeheartedly) will be washed away and we will become who God intended us to be: His holy children. I know I'm not the person you asked, but I pray that this answers your question. God bless :)
cheeseato It was not sudden. It took years of changes. First I resolved to follow Jesus, then He began to heal my thinking, the wounds in my heart, and my affections... and one day I realize I don’t have any of those feelings anymore at all.

God delivered me from the gay lifestyle, porn, alcohol, drugs and cigarettes 10 years ago. I grew up in the church and gave my heart to the Lord when I was 5. After high school I fell away and became very promiscuous and dangerous sexually after I started living as a gay man. I am amazed by the grace of God for being me out of that pit.

Dion Feist, my name is Jonathan and I have a serious question. The largest obstacle to me convicting myself to Jesus is my belief that there are people who are born gay. The argument that people become gay from abusive childhoods could not stand up in your case. I'm reading Stacy Olney's blog (thevindicatedword.blogspot.com/) and it seems that, after two years of constantly wrestling with scripture, it was ultimately Isaiah 29:15 that made her 'transition'.
There had to be a time when you reached puberty that you found that you were not interested in girls like your friends, even though you had given your heart to the Lord. From that point to now, was there a part of you that hoped to be in a relationship with someone else? From that point to now, what has changed?
OZTutoh From a very early age I felt a desire for male companionship. Mostly this was because of my father rejecting me after my parents divorce and my inability to make friendships. I think sometimes the enemy uses this to corrupt us sexually with a desire for that with same sex. I think because of that i struggled to have a desire for the opposite sex. When I turned 40 10 years ago, I just never felt a desire to try to develop a relationship with a woman and now almost 50 probably won’t.

Jesus also saved me from a life of homosexuality. There is great freedom in Him.

As a heterosexual Christian. I have rules too in the Bible to follow as well. It’s not easy for us either, but.... rules are RULES none the less. So when I talk to someone for the 1st. time who is in a gay lifestyle. As a Christian I really don’t care about their gay lifestyle!! Really, that’s Right !!!
I ask them, “Do you keep ? The Ten Commandments!

So with that in mind…. look at it this way…. That’s like being dragged into court for the- crimes of ( Rape, Murder, and Drug pedaling ) and as you’re standing there before a judge of the law, in that courtroom, for these very very Bad crimes and the bailiff says to the judge, “Your Honor, look here this man also has some outstanding parking tickets… Sir you need to throw the book at him today, He’s a BAD man!” See because if a person is living in a homosexual lifestyle that’s just icing on the cake of SIN…. There Lying, stealing, and blasphemy, not respecting there Mom and Dad…. (And that’s only four of ) Ten Commandments broken, that alone will get them right into HELL.!
So on the day of judgment, they are Really In Big Trouble and really need Jesus more than you’re telling them! So forget the Icing and Go after the cake of SIN First... like the judge in court did!! And not for the parking tickets…….. Deal with the icing later! So something to think about when talking to others and evangelizing to people about there homosexuality and about Jesus in there life.

GOD IS SOO GOOD!!!! Yesterday I was in the store talking to my mom about my past and I had mentioned that I was really sorry and discouraged because of how I treated my old teacher in elementary school and my mom tried to tell me that I’m sure she forgave me but it still hurt me because I knew that she was a Christian and I was still very rude to her. In the store I prayed that I would find out what she was doing or if she was OK or even meet her again one day. Flash forward to one day later and I get this video as a recommendation because I’ve been looking at living Waters for a couple of months now and my teacher is this woman that’s in the video!!!! I’m so thankful to God for giving me closure and to just be able to see one of the first Christian influencers I had on my life still living and setting a beautiful example for student.

Well, I was tempted to simply expound on the love of God (which is biblical and it is needful), or some other topic more relatable to their lives. However, when this lady said that the law of God is useful in evangelism, God confirmed that I really need to preach the Gospel, in addition to using the law of God to show them their sin and depravity. Also, since I was preparing a sermon, I was tempted to dismiss this UA-cam notification, because I eliminate all distractions. Nevertheless, I invite your prayers, that I may rightly divide his word this evening, that I may preach in the sight of God, and that I would, like Richard Baxter, "preach as if I'd never preach again; a dying man to dying men."

I'm so very greatful for God's blessings and his grace and mercy toward me. It hasn't been easy... I have made some horrible mistakes and had some falls along the way. But God was there through it all and he has helped me and helped to stand back up and run again. I love the Lord he is all I need and he gives me strength to keep fighting and he will perfect that which concerns me and I know he'll do the same for you❤

I always try to express this in my witness, but you just don't know until you have Jesus in you, and see for yourself.

First The Bible says in Matthew 24: 36, "But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." The Word is specific on what's to happen during those times. Just look around this earth.The Word tells us to watch and that we would know the end times by these events that are unfolding.. Matthew 24:3-51, Mark 13:4-37, Luke 21:7-36, 2 Thessalonians 2. Read these and see that these passages let us know what to look for but it shouldn't be difficult to see these signs; Shootings, floods, earthquakes, wars, famine, pestilence, oceans, lakes drying up, etc....If you read differently, let me know. Awww she’s a beautiful testimony! I’ve had friends change too and what a major difference in their hearts. There is so much pain attached to this lifestyle. I know this first hand. My step daughter is gay. We pray for her everyday. She’s a wonderful kid too. I just know God will reach her someday. She has a tough past and many do but God is so so good! He’s so faithful and he loves us so much that we just don’t get the gravity of his love. This story made me cry.
I too cried because of the burden on my heart for my daughter. She is living in a gay relationship and it is so hard to understand what the appeal is for her. My husband is so against this lifestyle that he cannot be around her partner (He prays and fasts and fights this lifestyle but will not allow it into our home). So, in that my daughter is not welcome in our home with her partner and will not come without her. Satan has attacked my health and I know it is because of my torn heart in following the lead of my husband and the love for my child.

Even if it was desired, it is not possible for me to return to the work force due to a low immunity. This new Covid-19 has added to the mix. In spite of all of this, I know that God is at work, and there are things that I can do for him right here at home. One of these is ministering (witnessing) online. You are in my prayers, brother. We have an awesome God... When we are weak, He is strong. Let Christ who is in you shine to those whose lives you come in contact with.
