For people wanting the reverse of this video, there are a few reasons why I won't do it A. Undertale doesn't give you the option to cut the music but keep the sound effects, unlike Hollow Knight B. I only own the Switch version of UT, and I don't have the equipment to record stuff on there or to go into the game's files myself to isolate the sound effects C. Even if I did just take clips of the boss fight for UA-cam and cut all audio from them, as much as I adore HKs soundtrack, it does not fit the boss fights in UT at all though that doesn't mean that this will be the only video of its kind on this channel... though I do recommend looking through the channel and supporting the content I actually put effort into, thanks
You could ask someone to mod out the music. Undertale is extremely easy to mod/corrupt due to how simple the code is, so it wouldn’t be difficult to find a preexisting mod to fix problem A. If problem B makes that irrelevant, you could just find a UA-cam video or reach out to someone who has it on PC. If that won’t work either, you could just do Deltarune as a last resort since it’s free.

The new context of it being a fight against Nosk seems to change the mood of the song, the distorted bits come off as more unnerving and eerie, rather than goofy like it sounds in the original context. The robot sounds invoke the image of a terrifying, Terminator-like Predator AI hunting with ruthless efficiency, which is kinda what Nosk is minus the artificial part. Robotic in nature rather than form.

That’s a fair opinion, but I think that it doesn’t work very well cause of how hopeful, truthful, and royal sounding asgores theme is while the hollow knight is scary looking as he looks corrupted and is literally stabbing himself which is just sad instead of the idea a of a king doing what’s right for the kingdom, like asgore is. But I do think the song does work with the action of the fight, just not the feeling and story.

I know, that Asgore and HK are different (in matter of the climax of battle or their place in hierarchy), but I was about, that we are fighting with a future king. Gruz Mother and Napstablook are tutorial bosses, and both are super apathetic and just live their lives. *False Knight*: Spear of Justice looks like a song that would play during False Knight, this is a good one.The only thing I don’t like about it is that the Maggot inside is evil whereas both the song and Undyne are portrayed as heroic. *Vengefly King etc*: spot on, except I think Brooding Mawlek should be stronger enemies alongside Crystal Guardian. *Hornet*: Battle Against a True Hero is perfect for her, fantastic job here. *Mantis Lords*: Spider Dance is an epic choice. An erratic song for speedy warriors, and the way they move makes the bossfight feel like a dance in a way. *Soul Master*: Granted I’m not too educated on Deltarune, but Chaos King fits Soul Master’s foreboding, dark, powerful aura very well. *Dung Defender*: both are very goofy and silly bossfights. You could make a case for Spear of Justice, but I still thing Lancer fits better here. *Flukemarm*: lol *Uumuu*: this just sounds fitting, and I’m pretty sure that the Checker-Dog guy is invincible until his weakness is exploited, there is no better option, this one is absolutely perfect. *Watcher Knights*: All I have to say is Metal Crusher would’ve fit better here than with Nosk bc both are heavily armored ghosts in a way. Dummy Is still a good choice though. Broken Vessel: the more I think about it, the more perfect it is. This is a vessel that succumbed to infection as a parallel to your resilient player character, similar to the evil Chara v Frisk relationship. *Nosk*: 3 words: A. Mal. Gam. *Hive Knight*: I totally get the Papyrus vibe from Hive Knight now, and both seem like innocent guys who have a Royal purpose to serve. *The Collector*: Words can’t describe how perfect this is. *God Tamer*: the name is hilarious. *Brooding Mawlek*: disrespect *Traitor Lord*: Death by Glamour would synergize much better with either base Grimm or even the Radiance. If that were the case Traitor Lord should have either a more menacing theme or another Ghost Fight clone. Overall, fantastic. A perfect fusion of my two favorite games. Have a wonderful day.
The Undertale/Deltarune songs makes these battles look more exciting!! Specially starting from this moment 26:30 , the songs and battle bosses from here are just PERFECT! btw, the world revolving was pretty exact for the collector guy xD and battle against a true hero for Hornet
It was obviously that you will place Megalovania with the hardest Boss in the game. Nightmare Grimm requires Sans music. Also their themes are a little similar

My Opinion on Undertale Songs and Hollow Knight boss combinations (very positive, but long :D) Gruz Mother: Fits very well, considering both want to be left alone. False Knight: The royalty left in the empty shell. Fits very well, but not if it was just the maggot. Vengefly King, Massive Miserable Cucumber, DigustingMarm: FITS PERFECTLY. Since they are just bigger versions of smaller foes. Mantis Lords: A blessing to my ears! Both of the battles already feel like a dance, so it perfectly fits into the battle with the lords. Hornet: Although maybe spear of justice could fit here better, Heartache is a okay choice. Considering hornet wants to stab you. Soul Master: Both tyrants, only fighting in fear of losing. Probably one of my favorite fits. Dung Defender: Lancer and Dung Defender are both playful, and when they attack, it almost seem like its a pure accident(which is true for dung boi). Although he may be a knight, hes a playful one. Crystal Guardian: yes UuwuU: Both bosses are invincible unless you move to a different approach. Also the dodging moments from the electric attacks perfectly mix with random and derpy mood. Watcher Knights: Corpses reanimated. Definitely a meh one, but lore wise, a great fit. Broken Vessel: The beginning of Megalo perfectly fits the strange and unknown aura of this boss. Oddly fits, but its a REALLY GOOD one. Nosk: We all know this one was hard fit any song in with. Sad that we cant get any good undertale songs for this boi. Hive Knight: yes God Tamer: HAHA YES. The sheer randomness of this being considered a boss also fits with the wonkyness of the tune, and can be completely optional. Brooding Mawlek: Less of a fit then the others, but still a good one nonetheless. Traitor Lord: mrmm.. This one is probably the least fitting, although still a bit good. The dancy fashion dosen't fit the ruthlessness of the lord, but this one is a problem like Nosk. Hornet Sentinel: I can ask for nothing more. NKG: both have the relation of kicking many people straight to the trash can. Although dosen't fit lore wise, makes up for the terror that is his fight. The Hollow Knight: Technically, since fork man is dead, he is king. Stuck the same with Nosk's music compared to HKs happy tunes, its still very fitting, as he is the technical final boss. Radiance: Gods of Epilepsy and Light. Only the blind shall live. Eternal Ordeal: HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA YES Collector: This is all I could ask for.
Fun fact about both the Mantis Lords theme and the Spider Dance theme: They are both duets! Mantis Lords is a duet because two of them fight at once (three at once during Sisters of Battle, but that is still a duet) Spider Dance is a duet as a nod to spiders with all those disgusting extra limbs they have
There is something cursed in hearing Megalovania over NKG. Enjoyed it nevertheless, the themes were right on point with the boss, amd I did have a good chuckle when NKG popped in. Loved it! Keep it up!

Althought the music of both games are completly diferent, you slecteed those that look like the style of every single boss, and a lot of the mosses fit really well with the music and sounds, nice vid
Chara theme is perfect for broken vessel. The song represents your long lost sibling, corrupted by forces beyond your comprehension, brutally attacking you and trying to kill you.
My favorite boss is Grimm and his different forms so I love that you gave him a song from one of the two skelebros. Also for the other brother I think Bonetrousle goes GREAT with Hive Knight. Great job.

I freaking love the watcher knights and Dummy, the tempo is perfect and jazzy.
The timing in some of these are so absurd you'd think they were designed to go with the song.

Soul Master fight was quite in-sync with the music.
The spider dance and with the lord Mantis!! That was Good!
*Gruz Mother*: makes sense. Gruz Mother and Napstablook are tutorial bosses, and both are super apathetic and just live their lives.
*False Knight*: Spear of Justice looks like a song that would play during False Knight, this is a good one.The only thing I don’t like about it is that the Maggot inside is evil whereas both the song and Undyne are portrayed as heroic.
*Vengefly King etc*: spot on, except I think Brooding Mawlek should be stronger enemies alongside Crystal Guardian.
*Hornet*: Battle Against a True Hero is perfect for her, fantastic job here.
*Mantis Lords*: Spider Dance is an epic choice. An erratic song for speedy warriors, and the way they move makes the bossfight feel like a dance in a way.
*Soul Master*: Granted I’m not too educated on Deltarune, but Chaos King fits Soul Master’s foreboding, dark, powerful aura very well.
*Dung Defender*: both are very goofy and silly bossfights. You could make a case for Spear of Justice, but I still thing Lancer fits better here.
*Flukemarm*: lol
*Uumuu*: this just sounds fitting, and I’m pretty sure that the Checker-Dog guy is invincible until his weakness is exploited, there is no better option, this one is absolutely perfect.
*Watcher Knights*: All I have to say is Metal Crusher would’ve fit better here than with Nosk bc both are heavily armored ghosts in a way. Dummy Is still a good choice though.
Broken Vessel: the more I think about it, the more perfect it is. This is a vessel that succumbed to infection as a parallel to your resilient player character, similar to the evil Chara v Frisk relationship.
*Nosk*: 3 words: A. Mal. Gam.
*Hive Knight*: I totally get the Papyrus vibe from Hive Knight now, and both seem like innocent guys who have a Royal purpose to serve.
*The Collector*: Words can’t describe how perfect this is.
*God Tamer*: the name is hilarious.
*Brooding Mawlek*: disrespect
*Traitor Lord*: Death by Glamour would synergize much better with either base Grimm or even the Radiance. If that were the case Traitor Lord should have either a more menacing theme or another Ghost Fight clone.
Overall, fantastic. A perfect fusion of my two favorite games. Have a wonderful day.
Before it got to NMK Grimm I was like “is it gonna be megalovania?” Then just budah bup bah and I was like “god damn it XD

If Hornet 1 got Spear of Justice, it would have worked with her second fight's theme and you wouldn't have had to change the name.
The Undertale/Deltarune songs makes these battles look more exciting!! Specially starting from this moment 26:30 , the songs and battle bosses from here are just PERFECT!
btw, the world revolving was pretty exact for the collector guy xD and battle against a true hero for Hornet
It was obviously that you will place Megalovania with the hardest Boss in the game. Nightmare Grimm requires Sans music.

My Opinion on Undertale Songs and Hollow Knight boss combinations (very positive, but long :D)
Gruz Mother: Fits very well, considering both want to be left alone.
False Knight: The royalty left in the empty shell. Fits very well, but not if it was just the maggot.
Vengefly King, Massive Miserable Cucumber, DigustingMarm: FITS PERFECTLY. Since they are just bigger versions of smaller foes.
Mantis Lords: A blessing to my ears! Both of the battles already feel like a dance, so it perfectly fits into the battle with the lords.
Hornet: Although maybe spear of justice could fit here better, Heartache is a okay choice. Considering hornet wants to stab you.
Soul Master: Both tyrants, only fighting in fear of losing. Probably one of my favorite fits.
Dung Defender: Lancer and Dung Defender are both playful, and when they attack, it almost seem like its a pure accident(which is true for dung boi). Although he may be a knight, hes a playful one.
Crystal Guardian: yes
UuwuU: Both bosses are invincible unless you move to a different approach. Also the dodging moments from the electric attacks perfectly mix with random and derpy mood.
Watcher Knights: Corpses reanimated. Definitely a meh one, but lore wise, a great fit.
Broken Vessel: The beginning of Megalo perfectly fits the strange and unknown aura of this boss. Oddly fits, but its a REALLY GOOD one.
Nosk: We all know this one was hard fit any song in with. Sad that we cant get any good undertale songs for this boi.
Hive Knight: yes
God Tamer: HAHA YES. The sheer randomness of this being considered a boss also fits with the wonkyness of the tune, and can be completely optional.
Brooding Mawlek: Less of a fit then the others, but still a good one nonetheless.
Traitor Lord: mrmm.. This one is probably the least fitting, although still a bit good. The dancy fashion dosen't fit the ruthlessness of the lord, but this one is a problem like Nosk.
Hornet Sentinel: I can ask for nothing more.
NKG: both have the relation of kicking many people straight to the trash can. Although dosen't fit lore wise, makes up for the terror that is his fight.
The Hollow Knight: Technically, since fork man is dead, he is king. Stuck the same with Nosk's music compared to HKs happy tunes, its still very fitting, as he is the technical final boss.
Radiance: Gods of Epilepsy and Light. Only the blind shall live.
Eternal Ordeal: HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA YES
Collector: This is all I could ask for.

Mantis Lords is a duet because two of them fight at once (three at once during Sisters of Battle, but that is still a duet)

There is something cursed in hearing Megalovania over NKG. Enjoyed it nevertheless, the themes were right on point with the boss, amd I did have a good chuckle when NKG popped in. Loved it! Keep it up!

My favorite boss is Grimm and his different forms so I love that you gave him a song from one of the two skelebros. Also for the other brother I think Bonetrousle goes GREAT with Hive Knight. Great job.
