Patience is needed and in a world we’re we bitch if we don’t get it instantly He’s getting mad paper for what Just Blaze does The money matches the effort
The reason Just made the beat from scratch without the sample is because they'd have to pay 8 cents of publishing/mechanical sales and other rights off each copy of the album. if you play everything from scratch, it's an original work and it made the album on the T.I. side of T.I. vs T.I.P.
these 2 make classic shit.... they got that certain style, t.i.'s flow got a certain style to it over his beats..... i love "im talkin 2 u" one of my favorite songs ever.... just blaze got t.i. spittin that fast shit.... yea he spits fast as shit on da records i can think of, even "live your life" all that fast flow, that i can barley even talk dat fast lol....hope they work more in da future
The song that couldn't be cleared was The Beatles" Eleanor Rigby",which people mistakenly call All Lonely People .8 cents is a lot to some labels, since in the music business it translates as 8 percent of an album, and all producers, featured artists, and the the full recoup of the album process must be in the equation .
@JohneySoQlose When someone samples a song they have to get permission to sample and have to pay the sampled songs' publisher a fee. Sometimes its a straight fee of several thousands of dollars or other times its percentage of the album sales. Since Murder Inc sampled this same beat years ago, I assume they wanted a high fee or percentage. TI's label didnt have enough money in their budget so Just had to change the beat so its samples less thus allowing the song to clear.
damn,,,,, i be gettin' stiff necks on tha reg's makin' beats....i try and not develop a hunch back....gotta maintain my composure but ya' my back be crampin' up too but it's all worth it.
@The Don You know nothing about music clearly. Study the man’s catalog. Your crazy statements prove you know NOTHING about hip hop. Stick to social media. That sounds more like your thing
@emmanuel322 no, JB used a sample for the original beat. The artist who performed the song wanted 8 cents for every album sold from T.I. to use the sampled portion. All samples need to be cleared by the original artist before they can be used by someone else. It's a legal issue over the use of the intellectual property of the original artist. The law says that it's okay to recreate or replay your rendition of a song, which is what just blaze ends up doing... Same thing Timbo did for Big Pimpin
@beatSbeyondBrain Different song. Both use the same sample. Murder Inc just payed the full price to sample where as Just Blaze had to make his own interpolation and change it up cause the label didnt want to pay the publisher their price for the sample for whatever reason
Dude ive been trying to find that out myself for years. Unfortunately these cats usually create fire and throw them away just because. Dilla was known for that also.
@mvpproductionz914 Y'all late, all the vids where taken down by Just, I guess the labels felt like he was infringing on the final product and told him don't let the fans know what they're getting so they can sell it.
@krazikris93 Thats a lot of money for just the use of a sample...you figure someone like T.I. who owns his record label is only getting maybe $2-3 per record (if hes lucky) so think about the fact that a cd cost $10...The label has to split up all the profits from that in order to make budget...like $2 to distribute the album...maybe $2-3 for the label...$2 for a artist like T.I. who owns their label...you're already $6-7 in and still gotta pay producers, samples, staff, and carriers

This is what we need in the music industry work! Please bring it back.

He’s getting mad paper for what Just Blaze does
The money matches the effort

Classic Hilfiger Lotus Work
Just Blaze: SUPER LEGEND. 2nd greatest rap producer of all time time, behind only Swizz Beatz. With all due respect to Preemo, Dre, and Timbo
@The Don You know nothing about music clearly. Study the man’s catalog. Your crazy statements prove you know NOTHING about hip hop. Stick to social media. That sounds more like your thing
Swizz beats production always been garbage he got a few classic beats I’ll say Kanye, The Neptunes, Timbo, Dr.Dre
@@thomasanderson468 🤣🤣🤣 Never talk chess to checker players I see smh
He had to, they could clear the sample. But you're right, the final version is better anyway.
@emmanuel322 no, JB used a sample for the original beat. The artist who performed the song wanted 8 cents for every album sold from T.I. to use the sampled portion. All samples need to be cleared by the original artist before they can be used by someone else.

T.i - Help is coming (Alternative Version)
@beatSbeyondBrain Different song. Both use the same sample. Murder Inc just payed the full price to sample where as Just Blaze had to make his own interpolation and change it up cause the label didnt want to pay the publisher their price for the sample for whatever reason

Dude ive been trying to find that out myself for years. Unfortunately these cats usually create fire and throw them away just because. Dilla was known for that also.
ArchaeoLogist It sounds like Jay Z kingdom come
+broadband12 Can't be. This video was recorded in 2007. Kingdom come was released in 2006
broadband12 nah ive heard it somewhere else tho
thesmoothone Justin Timberlake TKO
Do you have the Making Of Show Me What You Got from JBTV?
What blows my mind is how easy it was for Wayne to get this same sample cleared for Bill Gates. Lol.
Sample was cleared they just ain’t wanna play the 8 cents for every album. Not just for the 1 song but for the album album.
-----What now when magic doesn't save face and my swordplay delievers a head in a case with Blood Lust becoming the first Murder Trait----
howd u put lines through ur words like that??
I forget
Shane/Zinq-FreeAgent Editor he didn't forget he just won't tell you
..when did Dave Matthews get on the team with Just?
@mvpproductionz914 Y'all late, all the vids where taken down by Just, I guess the labels felt like he was infringing on the final product and told him don't let the fans know what they're getting so they can sell it.

@G3tShotOStab so? no rapper kills it one take every time, perfection takes time, he takes it
I still csnt believe he never used that James brown beat.....Drake needs to get on that
*can't*
@bigE1983themonsta he means just blaze is going to get paid only 8 cents per album...instead of just paying him for the song .....
ha ha i was going to use this same sample....oh well guess not now.
oh thanks thought it was original
Lol who would have known sampling is this hard. But looks like after Pharrell's Blurred Lines, producers can't do this anymore.
I don't even know why Just Blaze used the sample, he didn't even need it. All he did is remake it anyway.
wait 3:52 that's lil wayne's bill gates beat and boi 1 da made it. how come just blaze got it ?
what does he mean 8 cents per album
2:52 lmmmaaaoooo
tht original Help is Coming beat sounds nothing like the final version lol
What is the 1st song in this video?
+Sam N help is coming
The original cut was way better than the track that actually made the album.
I disagree
how much does he make on a trakk
+Chad Painters Pallete 100k to 250k if he's getting royalties and if its number 1
@krazikris93
Thats a lot of money for just the use of a sample...you figure someone like T.I. who owns his record label is only getting maybe $2-3 per record (if hes lucky) so think about the fact that a cd cost $10...The label has to split up all the profits from that in order to make budget...like $2 to distribute the album...maybe $2-3 for the label...$2 for a artist like T.I. who owns their label...you're already $6-7 in and still gotta pay producers, samples, staff, and carriers
8 cents a album is nothing the album sold a million so that’s $80,000
