You are a whole vibe man! I came from your comment/link on r/utilitypouches, to see what this system was all about. This is an awesome concept! Definitely THE way to be carrying a pouch on your person. I take my pouches in the vehicle a lot and I'm now wondering about vehicle mount possibilities for your plate, so the whole rig can go from person to vehicle... Cool stuff! I love all your EDC loadouts and variety too! You kept me wanting to see what was next lol.
I am using this system on holiday with swim shorts on the beach and I have become the KING of the sand castle! Keep up the good work 🎉👌
I like the concept. Would have come in handy on my pouch I call the damnit pouch. would love to see a video going over that wall in the back it look interesting.

It should have a retention strap because its gonna tear off if it gets snagged on something
What do you think? Something like a wallet chain? I haven't had a major snag yet. I've been using this system for about two years. But it is something I've thought about adding.

Not my cup of tea but I like the ingenuity!!
Just being held on be velcro gives me anxiety, I could see myself using it with a wallet chain though as a ‘safety’ feature. Thoughts?
I hear you. I totally get it.
I had to carry this way for over a year before I fully trusted it to work. It works.
But, you could def combine it with a chain or teather of some kind.
My guess is, after a few months you would ditch the chain.
Id love to see your take on EDC pens. I have a Kaweco AL Sport fountain pen I carry but im looking for something a little more... cheap to lose. My favorite ballpoint pens are Pilot G2 but they're a little large for an EDC pouch for me.

@PocketTheoryEDC I tried with a single metal clip but as you prob are aware...no worky well! It seems a major shortcoming in the molle/edc ecosystem. Most small bags have a left/right vertical channel so a single clip is no go for balance. Again...way to go!

@PocketTheoryEDC just ordered! A suggestion if I may. Perhaps make a version or adapter which works more readily with the various molle phone/etc bags which have the vertical channels of horizontal straps. 2 locking type clips similar to what you have on the back perhaps...but with a curve to catch on the strap and not pull out. I found a single clip on amazon for this.

I’ll be honest…..I’d worry about someone snatching that off my waist,Especially in a crowded area. I usually use a carabiner and a lanyard to wear little pouches around my neck that way I can tuck it inside my shirt in crowds

I was initially a little paranoid myself, but it takes way more than a “snatch” to remove. It’s VERY secure. It would be way easier to pick-pocket a regular wallet out of a pocket.
The pouch is also always covered by my shirt normally. AND - nobody else even knows it’s removable unless I telegraph that! 😃
