Dated a girl in high school in the 80's.....we had great times...dated for 2 years....I thought she was the one....how naive I was then....she is long gone out of my life .....music like this takes me back to those days......funny thing is I wouldn't trade those days for anything in the world.
I was only a pre-teen by the end of the decade, but man was it fun discovering youth and girls. Although I sure love the girl I ended up with, it brings back good memories of all the girls past. Best time ever. And seeing the Bears win the Super Bowl in 86 was pretty sweet too.

Pois é.. e algo que deve sempre ficar em mente é que, ao menos no caso do filme, ela não pediu pra ele ficar indo atrás.. ele foi porque quis e fez tudo porque quis.. e obviamente ela não tem que ficar com ele porque ele mostra que faria tudo por ela. Ela fica com quem ela quiser.. quando eu tinha a idade dos personagens no filme, acharia um absurdo a atitude dela.. hoje já considero que não tem nada de errado. Errado é ele criar expectativas onde não havia como dar certo. Não vi o filme, mas em alguns trechos parece que a outra loirinha tenta algo com ele mas ele a rejeita também, isso? As everyone has said, he was a simp and there was absolute no way he was gonna get her over his mate. He was too much of a nice guy. Probably stinked of desperation at times. That ending was cold though, he should def ignore her if and when it happened again

Yeah, too much messaging and making statements and stuff. While in the 80's they only focused on entertainment, drama and action. Storytelling and relatability was core pillars of 80's story telling and design. Also, the period of 2016 and forward has been what I call: The anti-80's. Where everything is the complete opposite of the 80's. Just think about it.

Retrowave: great editing to this song. Never heard of them or the Midnight until I found your channel. Both have the 80s music vibe. Your channel absolutely rocks. Lived the 80s as a preteen and remember it all like it was yesterday. I would go back in a second, but I would make it a point to tell my younger self to not change anything.

Wonder why movies today don’t have this magic. Maybe politics is now involved
Yeah, too much messaging and making statements and stuff. While in the 80's they only focused on entertainment, drama and action. Storytelling and relatability was core pillars of 80's story telling and design.
Also, the period of 2016 and forward has been what I call: The anti-80's.
Where everything is the complete opposite of the 80's. Just think about it.

Me and my brother snuck into this movie because we were too young to get in it was one of those teenage 80’s comedies and in a way it is but man the ending is brutal it called the last American virgin

I was just a year old in 80' and getting your heartbroken has happened to a lot of good guys like me but we live and learned from it.
I was born in '83, so by the time I knew what was what, it was the 90's already. But i definitely get nostalgic with the music and all the was "The Eighties Culture". A simpler time. ❤

Retrowave: great editing to this song. Never heard of them or the Midnight until I found your channel. Both have the 80s music vibe. Your channel absolutely rocks. Lived the 80s as a preteen and remember it all like it was yesterday. I would go back in a second, but I would make it a point to tell my younger self to not change anything.
