For whoever watches this video make sure you read my comment before you’re damaging your boat… if you lay back the tower and put the back legs first, when you try to bring it forward it won’t go more than 90 degrees, and if you’re pushing, you can damage your boat. It will lock in a place and it bending. You have to lean your tower forward and put the back legs first and somebody has to hold it until you make the holes for the front legs. This way is so much easier and the right way. Is definitely not a one person job. Also u found out the 4 inches less in the width was too much tension. I’d I’d have to do it again I would go more than 3 inch less especially that the bracket has just one hole only and is too much tension on the fiberglass. That’s just my opinion.
Also if you decide to have speakers with LED lights keep in mind that you need extra wires.

I am happy to help shed some light on this comment. As we mentioned in the video around 17:10 , there are better ways to install the tower onto the rear mounts We were showing the hardest way because not everyone has help, or a way to tie off the tower from above.
From the sounds of this scenario, it sounds like the shoulder bolts weren't left loose enough to allow freedom of movement in those joints. The shoulder bolts probably could have used another 1/2 to full turn (maybe even more depending on how tight they were to begin with) to loosen the swivel mount to allow more movement and rotation. The swivels are used specifically for rotation of the tower in mind.
You are absolutely correct though, do not force anything. Just loosen the bolts a little bit more to help aid in the rotation of those pieces.

I would love some more detail about the hole drilled in the H section.did you go through both pieces (H and corner)? What did that bolt look like? Did it go through the entire bar with a nut on the back side? I would also like to see a close up video of when you tighten up the bolts with the thread lock, looking inside where you insert your wrench.

Thank you for your comment. We will take note of your input for any other videos in the future. In the meantime, yes, the H-Member bolt must go through the tubing holes in which you drill in order to secure them.

if you install the tower reversed (rearward swept), would you install the front legs first?

The installation process will still be the same. The tow knob (rope attachment point) will still need to be mounted to the stern (back) of the boat. Otherwise, the process will remain the same. Your terms will just need to be switched as well; front leg is rear leg, rear leg is front leg.

I can't watch you drill the holes into the tubing with your hand directly behind the bit! Ouch if you slip!!!!
