  • Mike Francesa warned Yankees fans about the Astros, and they showed up to play. Cristian Javier worked the Yanks, but ultimately, the Yanks worked themselves. This series, the Yankees have struck out on 41.8% of their at-bats and can't hit a little. What is left is pride. Will the Yankees show some in Game 4?

I found this post by chance, I am a Native Houstonian and Lifetime Astro Fan, and to hear the perspectives and opinions of this Pod Cast is no doubt top class, I have never heard of your name before Sir as we are from areas foreign in a sense you can say, but you do break things down so well and true to the point i really appreciate this and will tune in a little more moving forward, It is astounding how these Playoffs with the NY and Hou have unfolded from 2015 to the present, and i believe one the points i would like to make is that after the 2017 scandal, I think it really hardened this team and don't forget the fanbase as well they both played of of each other, and I can say the players do probably feed off of the visiting fandom boos and what not, But also the Player Development is very key as well as the analytics, I'm sure somewhere down the line we`ll end up meeting again in a series not far down the road. Great work Mr.Francesa.

Cashman was George’s boy after his suspension in 1990. Gene Michael put that Yankees Dynasty together. Cashman was handed the keys to a Ferrari in 1998. It was Bob Watson who brought in those veterans as missing pieces to the puzzle. Cashman gets credit for those titles but it was Gene Michael and Watson who deserve more.

Forget Judge, it's this moron GM Cashman that should have been fired years ago. 13 years running this jerk off has put together the same team. HOME RUN OR BUST. In May against Kansas City that's fine but in October vs stud pitching the home runs dry up and and for the 13th consecutive season this trash team doesn't sniff advancing to or winning a World Series. The lineup included Ricky Henderson, who scored 146 runs and stole 80 bases after missing the first two weeks with a hammy. Dave Winfield knocked in over 100 runs and was a great outfielder. Don Baylor was a dangerous DH. And Don Mattingly was awesome, winning the MVP and Gold Glove. Pags at third and Willie at second not bad. Shortstop not so good. Ron Hassey was very good as the backup catcher/pinch hitter. Wynegar was the every day catcher. Guidry, Niekro, Rhigetti, Shirley, and Fisher made up a decent, but not great staff. This team ended up 2nd behind Toronto, winning 97 games. An 8 game losing streak in September was the real killer. Billy replaced Yogi after 16 games. Every postseason he looks like a rookie manager, and he is a rookie manager in his fifth season! And cash insisted toSteinbrenner that he wants Boone back because Boone does whatever Cashman tells him to do …he’s not a manager he is a data applicator…and enforcer of Cash and geek squads horrendous understanding of what makes a championship team.
And how goes along with what Cashman says because he’s too afraid to make a change. How is the anti-George
This org is committed to making most $…and that is accomplished by making playoffs…spending 250mill/yr and havin Rob Manfred s ever expanding playoff format guarantees that!
I blame fans for lovingly supporting this team…Saw since end of ‘18…this org was not embarrassed by getting blown out by Red Sox.

But don’t give them, the Yankees, a cent…I was given i’m free ticket to go to one game this year on Wednesday afternoon and sit at Keith’s right field bleachers, did not buy beer did not buy any of that ridiculously priced food
Only way how will get the message is by fans turning away. He’s not capable of being a winning owner he got everything off of George’s back. So sell the team for seven -8 billion and get out of the way!

This team only seems to score when they hit homers.
In addition, when you're facing the best pitching, as we've seen in Houston, they're going to struggle. In life you do reap what you sow.😕 The Yankees are getting exactly what they deserve in putting out a mediocre product for the fans. That doesn't have no real chance to win a championship.👎 I'll say this if they let Aaron Judge walk as a free-agent, they might as well do a total rebuild. Rebuild around Volpe, Perraza and the kids and maybe they'll have a chance to win a championship in the future.✌️
