+Yvette Granatella There's quite a few nice songs on this LP as well as their debut album Impact...Damon Harris former Temptation at his best. After Otis Williams fired him from The Tempts he got his old High School Band back together...You may also want to listen to their songs feom '69-'70 when they were The Vandals
Thanks so much for sharing, just recently discovered that Damon was with another group after he left The Temptations, so happy that there is You Tube and people like you. Thanks again.
I never stated that Damon Harris was better then Eddie Kendricks. I stated that Damon Harris gave Eddie Kendricks a run for his money. But I do agree that,Eddie Kendricks was top notch!! He was truly one of a kind.
Kendricks will always be tops but, Damon wasn't no slouch by any means...He was the perfect fit @ the time...Most believe that Damon replaced Eddie which isn't true...Damon replaced Ricky Owens who's stay was short & VERY brief....The problem with Damon was he was 10 years younger than the rest of the members and his immaturity became a factor as he became more successful....
Thanks for this info, never knew anything about Ricky Owens, I have always read that Temptations had only four falsetto singers (with the 4th one Ron Tyson still a part of the present line up).
I just love the background info found in these comments. Damon Harris is the closest and best falsetto match to Eddie Kendricks that I have ever heard. It's too bad that things didn't work out with the Temps but he did go on to make his own mark with Impact.
I'm listening this in August 2019 and is blown away by this guy's voice more than ever, the harmonies are very beautiful also, love, love, love it!!
GREAT music. Who in the heck was hiding all of this beautiful music? Loving you more and more each day, Damon Harris! Rest in peace.
Incredible song!!
What an amazing voice.
Beautiful song that I never heard before today.

Apparently, Ricky Owens forgot the words to "Just My Imagination" in his first public appearance with the Temps and got canned.
