I first saw Blue Magic as an opening act for the Jacksons at Madison Square Garden and then again as an opening act for Gladys Knight and the Pips. No matter whether they were headlining or opening, they were always so classy and top notch while at the same time carrying on the tradition of smooth r&b. Ted 'Wizard' Mills had one of the purest falsettos ever and their choreography was also top-notch! Luv these guys!

I was pressed into droppin' a few at the local club a couple of weeks ago and played this song. Made people sweat with satisfaction. Just too un-earthly smooth for the room. Yet another great post.
The Blue Magics weren't underrated they did got their props in a very hot competition. They had Chilites, Stylistics, Dramatics, Spinners,Manhattans just to name a few to deal with.
I was playing a Blue Magic series and this song came along, and I said that the late Major Harris also has a version which I preferred more, but this is actually sounding great, love it also
Saw Blue Magic, Chiltes and Stylistics Valentine day in Cleveland...what a great concert.
The magic of the blue has to be Blue Magic's best album. Who agrees? He said who got me listening to a phone that never rings.... 😢 masterpiece
I agree. It just didn't get the push it so deserved.
