- Covid-19 has presented governments across the world with a common threat, but the response has been far from united and collaborative. Has the pandemic further weakened the multilateral institutions that were the hallmark of globalisation? HARDtalk’s Stephen Sackur speaks to Spain’s Foreign Minister Arancha González. Is Europe’s liberal political elite struggling to cope with a geopolitical reality increasingly defined by nationalism in the US and China?
Stressing interview Stephen, the issues you raised, 1. the high risk, that opening of public places, people get exposed to vs poverty that would be experienced in countries if economy is not opened at the right time, 2. The fact that EU what is a model of a continental co-operation, proves not to have its act together. 3. Foreign Minister not being able to give a bold answer in defense of materialism. 4. One was hoping that the EU, as a block, would find it useful to mediate between the Trump administration and Beijing. It was a breathtaking interview though thank you Hard Talk for meaningful questions.
ótimo trabalho em jornalismo parabéns acompanho aqui do Brasil.
