Hello! I m truly a beginner (i m doing my third page😅) but yes! It’s so fun & instructional to test & experiment different medias, from colour pencils to pastels or watercolours or waxes etc!!😃 But scary too!😂 everything is an adventure! I do love your globe in KR! And the whales page. Have a nice day!🌸🦄🌸
Thanks for sharing!! And yay I'm glad you're getting into coloring books! 💕💕 I often find that I come with a plan, but then the page has a plan of its own and "colors'" itself different than what I originally imagined. 😂 But it still ends up beautiful! Enjoy that adventure of experimenting with different media and seeing where the page takes you. ☺️ 💕
Thank you very much! I have a few videos up on my channel for that, and I'm planning on doing more! But as I'm new to youtube, I'd love some advice on what kinds of video tutorials you find the most helpful. What do you look for in tutorials?
@@whatcolorfulworlds I would love to see instructions on backgrounds. Boy, do I stink at them. I have all the media but I just can’t make them look nice. Also videos on more complicated coloring books like Kerby and Mythographic. I love seeing completed pages videos with a breakdown on how the results were achieved.
@@lizclimie8901 I just finished editing a video of Kerby's Worlds Within Worlds - the whale page. I explain how to do the background in it. If you're interested, let me know if it was helpful! I'd love your feedback so I can improve my videos :) ua-cam.com/video/29cHzWvNYiA/v-deo.htmlsi=RXnnpJX1IGcphMAt
Hi can you tell me what colours you used for the hannah karlzon picture. Its beautiful. Or the tutorial you followed. The pale palette with the small birds.x
Hello! The tutorial I followed was this one: ua-cam.com/video/7Rak2hvDPlE/v-deo.htmlsi=dUINyWgoE4r7xpMs These are the following things I changed and did as my own: 1 For yellow flowers I use Prismacolor (white, cream, sand, burnt ochre, dark brown, black) 2. For the hair I used Prismacolor (cream, burnt ochre, henna, dark brown black). 3. For the background I switched to cream colored distress ink (offbrand iZink)
I really enjoyed all your beautiful pictures. Could you please share with me who's tutorial you followed to do the first picture in Hanna Karlzon's Soulmates? I think that is so beautiful and would love to follow the tutorial. Thank you so much.

@@whatcolorfulworlds awesome! I can’t wait to watch it!
Polychromos are my favourite but I recently received Prismacolours so I'm excited to find out how they work.😅
I love them both for different reasons! They are VERY different so give yourself plenty of time to get used to them! Have fun. 😁
Thanks! Good luck on your discovery of prismas. I'm looking forward to exploring Polys :)
