Hi K What a treat ALL your pages are, (eye candy) if I had to pick a favorite....well both double spreads are gorgeous, but I think I'd pick the bugs 1st bc for me that would've been the most difficult, most difficult to get the very beautiful results as you! There are few colorist I actually enjoy listening to, you are most certainly one of them. I agree wholeheartedly what was said in one of the other comments about not apologizing. You are very generously imparting a wealth of excellent information, please 🙏 don't stop. You are very likeable, your coloring pages are exceptional, and I'm sure most if not all very much value your knowledge on the subject❤❤❤❤👏 I applaud 👏 you❤ p.s. Oh WOW!! Every single page you did is absolutely outstanding!! There is no way to pick a favorite, but for me, the three that stand out the most are the Crazy Cat book pages, the Elephant pages and the Mythographic page.

Really glad you appreciated your amazing work this month, they are all worthy of being a favourite. I am phobic about spiders and all other creepy crawlers but I actually did like your bugs page - what a pity they don’t look like that in reality!! On the other hand you coloured my most favourite and loved animals - cats. I’m going to try to find the one from Amazon Japan, also Spooky but it has been out of stock for months. And the elephants, just amazing with all those beautiful, shiny colours It must have taken you forever and it shows😊 So, a hard choice but I think I will have to put the cats double spread to second favourite but the elephants are my number one this month. Thank you for sharing and the video wasn’t too long at all - I love to watch them❤
If the colors on the box are accurate it APPEARS the new pastel set of supertips is all new colors. They are not numbered or named other than a spot on the packaging, and Crayola is known to name things for "fun" (like "purple mountain majesty, or mac and cheese lol) so it's hard to say 100% without a swatch comparison, they may have just called them by a different name for the pastel set. Be aware though, they are dye based as well as designed not to stain (washable) and individual colors vary from fugitive to extremely fugitive.. so from "don't hang them on a wall" to "will fade/change color over time even in a covered book due to exposure to oxygen in the air". I've even seen some dye based markers change color IN the closed marker over time (I have Tombows that have done this). This effect is amplified with the addition of water (true for almost any media). What this means for you is entirely individual.. you may not care in the slightest and that is perfectly fine... just something to be aware of when you invest so much time and energy into a page so you aren't surprised later. Many artists knowingly use fugitive materials all the time, and simply scan or photo the work for reproduction, but since we keep our original works in the books it's something to keep in mind. That said, many "artist" quality supplies are fugitive as well, and the brand ratings are not trustworthy in too many instances (I literally cried when I found out how bad many of my LF1 rated Daniel Smith watercolors actually are, hard lesson learned).. the only way to know for sure is to either test them yourself (all colors you own, not just one or two from a brand) by leaving them exposed to light for 1-6 months or utilize tests done by others. Additionally, I think covering them with another product ( a more lightfast pencil for example, in conjunction with the wax/oil layer they bring with them) may help a bit to protect them or at least soften the visual impact of a fade. A fun thing many don't mention about the supertips is being dye based they can do some really fun separating effects when wet, the various colors can "split" on the paper... especially some of the dark shades. You can start with what looks like black and wind up with super cool swirls of color. This can be frustrating when it happens when you don't expect it though, so I would test them all by dropping a good bit of water into a swatch before trying it straight on a page.

Gah! 42 pounds is crazy, those tooliart pens are tiny ( was really shocked when I got them how small they are). I paid like $20 usd for them over a year ago and have never used them lol.. I have the pastel set as well. Not sure why, seemed like a good idea at the time but just never reached for them. Probably would have gotten rid of them by now but honestly I forget they are there. I've been really liking my pastel/neutral sakura moonlight pens though.. they are a new goodie for me and I love them for little pops of color, like centers of flowers or accent dots. I started with the 6pc pastel set and then bought several more colors. I have similar colors in posca but the gel pens are just so easy, and they are really opaque so they go over the top of coloring as a finishing touch well. They are easy for me to get open stock too, those tooliarts are only sold as a set. I've pretty much cleaned all the non-open stock products out of my collection... seem great at first but get frustrating and expensive when you really start using them.

Hi K. Your pages are so beautiful. Out of curiosity, which acrylic paint pens do you feel are opaque enough to color lines? I am not happy with a lot of the ones I have. Although I do like the Ohuhu and the Tooli Art. But I agree the Tooli Art are expensive. I just got some Nicety acrylic paint pens and so far I am liking them. But need to use them more. I love your sea horse video. Sorry I did not comment on it. Try not to get discouraged. I try not to. Those of us who watch them love them. 😀
Hi Tammy thanks so much, I like the 60 Arrtx set acrylic pens but would prefer a finer tip, even though they are brush tip and you can alter the line thickness, they are not as fine tip as I would like them. I hope to save up for the Tooli-art acrylic pens as they have some unique colours and are available in a fine tip selection. Thanks for the words of encouragement and sorry for the late reply.

Hi K! Beautiful work as usual, can I ask did you buy your glaze pens in a pack or individually? I see them on cult pens as individuals but I would prefer a basic pack with at least clear, blank white. Also which pens did you use for the shiny mushrooms in the top tight corner on strange cats page please?
Hi there, thank you! In the past I bought packs of glaze pens from Amazon but I’m not sure if they are still available, you could check? The mushrooms were painted with Reneeissance countdown to Christmas colourshift watercolours, not pens! Hope that helps 😊
Wow all of your art is amazing! What kind of printer did you use to print onto watercolor paper? Ink jet or regular? Is the ink waterproof? What a great idea, I want to try it out. Thanks!
I have a Brother inkjet printer and I print on either watercolour paper or mixed media paper. The ink generally doesn’t run when I do use watercolour, so I have been fortunate so far
Your pages are gorgeous, as always! I love them all but if I had to pick a favorite I would choose the one in Crystal Kingdom! I love that new Mythographic artist as well! She will have a new Mythographic book coming out but it won't be released until early November and it's called Rainbow Realms. I will pre-order it when it gets closer to the release date! Right now I'm looking forward to March 5th because Mythographic Shangri-La will be released that day! And then Joseph Catimbang(my favorite artist!) new book will be released May 14, I believe! And I totally agree that the tool-art pens acrylic markers are over priced. Thank you for sharing your beautiful coloring pages with us!

That’s what puts me off with Tooli-art, too expensive and also I’ve heard the ink does not last too long

No gum used, I used my black Posca 1M and 1MR and I had to exercise a lot of patience! 😊

Hi K! Beautiful work as usual, can I ask did you buy your glaze pens in a pack or individually? I see them on cult pens as individuals but I would prefer a basic pack with at least clear, blank white. Also which pens did you use for the shiny mushrooms in the top tight corner on strange cats page please?
Hi there, thank you! In the past I bought packs of glaze pens from Amazon but I’m not sure if they are still available, you could check? The mushrooms were painted with Reneeissance countdown to Christmas colourshift watercolours, not pens! Hope that helps 😊
Wow all of your art is amazing! What kind of printer did you use to print onto watercolor paper? Ink jet or regular? Is the ink waterproof? What a great idea, I want to try it out. Thanks!
I have a Brother inkjet printer and I print on either watercolour paper or mixed media paper. The ink generally doesn’t run when I do use watercolour, so I have been fortunate so far

Your pages are gorgeous, as always! I love them all but if I had to pick a favorite I would choose the one in Crystal Kingdom! I love that new Mythographic artist as well! She will have a new Mythographic book coming out but it won't be released until early November and it's called Rainbow Realms. I will pre-order it when it gets closer to the release date! Right now I'm looking forward to March 5th because Mythographic Shangri-La will be released that day! And then Joseph Catimbang(my favorite artist!) new book will be released May 14, I believe! And I totally agree that the tool-art pens acrylic markers are over priced. Thank you for sharing your beautiful coloring pages with us!

How did you use water soluble markers? On palette with brush or directly on the paper? And as always, fascinating pages😍😍😍really love them all❤

Thought your elephant page was wonderful, but, I also liked the cat page from the odd cat book as well. You never talk too much and your pages deserved being shown at a slower rate so that they can be admired in full. In other words the video was no to long.
