Best line ever. “It’s pronounced Butterscotch.” And Catherine narrated it so perfectly. I agree with the Marquis. Are any of his children going to make a match without causing drama. Cassandra is truly inspirational. A clever strategist, poised, practical and not easily ruffled emotionally. To have such courage in the ballroom situation that she did not scream when the gun went off was truly remarkable. Facing down her father and publicly proposing was also a lovely ending. I am very impressed with Quentins character and look forward to his story.
Love the books, love the husky narration. An issue im incurring by not reading the books myself that I (possibly incorrectly) mentally correct to myself is “secretion/secreted” (as in squish/ooze) to “secreting/secreted” (as in secret). 6:52 is the 3rd time in this series thus far that the disgusting word was pronounced instead of the quiet sneaky one. Changes the whole vibe of the sentence! Perhaps im mistaken… but in context secreted (sneaky) has been working better 🤷♀️ Thank you for reading these books! - Able to enjoy through out my day.
What happened after Le Renard had been knocked down by Nigel? Did they drag Le Renard away, hold him prisoner somewhere, kill him? It was left a bit in the balance. [Pardon the pun].
She has one paralyzed vocal cord, according to her website. Knowing that she's not being breathy on purpose makes it easier for me to listen to personally.
I'm sorry. I cannot listen to that reader. Her voice is way too annoying. This is the second book I've tried to listen to her presentation. I just cannot listen to her.
I agree, it's extremely unpleasant. I don't know why, I just know my brain doesn't enjoy it and I constantly want to clear my throat. I just came to give it another chance.
Thank you for writing this very interesting story and keeping it clean. I enjoyed it very much.
This series has been such a joy to read/listen to! I'm so excited for Quentin's story!
I think the narrator's voice is very soothing

Yes 😂
And did he wear the same clothes for two months??

Same way he was in the back house lol 😂

So many adverts five minute adverts!! Otherwise very interesting story
The narrator sounds as though she smokes 3 packs a day 🚬! I hope my ears can get past it because I am looking forward to the book.

OMG. I really like her voice. A great deal of natural expression and range.
