This reminds me of Romeo and Juliet and the feud between Montague and Capulets. The absolute thoughtfulness of Felix to send Jocelyn such a caring gift is heartwarming. And he remembers her mothers favourite Sonata. I love how Jocelyn quickly got to know the real Felix. He sure fell quickly for someone who intended to wait till he was 60.
Lovely story, of the meeting of two from two 'levels' of society. Interesting that even today many think it matters to use a woman to the advantage of the 'famiky'.
Good narrator overall, but what a terrible voice choice for the main female character. Doesn't sound like a pretty young girl but more like an old sneaky woman, lol.
I decided to see if anyone else in the comments found Jocelyns voice a bad choice, sounds like she's had laryngitis, her own voice whilst reading the story would have been ideal.
Oh no!! I am going to miss out on this one too. I am sure the book would be good, but I can't stand to listen to the narrator. I even sped it up and it's just as scratchy and awful!
Thank you for a delightful escape to a place where there is honor and love.
Loved everything about this book including the great narration.
Having gone to English Dance classes & many Contra Dances helps me appreciate these stories more I'm sure. Great story & great narration! Thank You!
Enjoyed so much. Loved the humor and wittiness of the characters.

I came here to say this! The main male character described her voice as "deceptively sweet sound," and I swallowed a laugh😅
I loved her sweet husky voice.
Her voice is different but she speaks clearly.

Lovely story but I wish the author hadn't used the main female character's first name so option.
