The fact I'm less addicted to league makes it so much easier to watch and enjoy esports like a normal person instead of feeling like queuing up daily.

@@zackmendes6959 True I just stopped playing ranked at some point. I just play normal or the choncc's mode - just wild play haha. For me the down side for TFT is just that a set can get boring very fast for a number of reasons.

@@HappyBeeGaming it wouldn't really matter. This entire series, the botlane all played unique champs for both teams. So even if it were hard fearless, that last game draft would've still happened.
Love the new format, and love the fact they added Fearless Draft in the mix.

To be fair, as hilarious as it is it actually makes a lot of sense that fearless draft would lead to Lucian Nami Zeri Lulu.
Fearless Draft (especially if it weren't soft, which I really wish were the case) is really good about making sure that the same drafts don't get repeated. We won't have to truly relive the hellscape that was perma Lucian Nami Zeri Lulu, but because it constricts champion options it actually makes it WAY MORE likely, not less, to see LNZL at some point in a series as teams picks are getting pinched and they start flailing around in their ever shrinking pools for things that work.
tbf there isnt a more aggressive and interesting bot lane than lucian nami. maybe corki smth now but cmon, we just gonna ignore botlane meta was passive for years before lucian nami happened?
What’s the point in fearless if the bans/picks don’t carry over? Each team just needs 3 meta picks for each role and then handshake the picks and bans. One team picks ksante, the other team picks ksante, and then we’ll get the one good matchup (tf Jax or something and it doesn’t matter cause they’ll lane swap). I know they don’t want to do a big change but like- it’s 4 weeks. Barely even a trial run and they’re not even committing to it
Soft Fearless Draft benefits hyperspecific counter picks so much. You don't use up a meta pick, and use the opontent's meta pick
Soft/hard fearless draft benefit the game in so many levels, but most important change completely the way they have to balance the game I'm all for it.

We have to see more of fearless draft. I think it's the right call to roll it out as soft fearless but I would very much like to see this in a best of 5 at some point. It's a lot to keep track off during draft to be honest, at least I'm not managing it very well. I'd be totally fumbling the draft left, right and centre.
What I like though is that it isn't completely crazy, unlike the old rule in LCK where the last game in a Bo5 would be blind draft, which was bonkers. Sometimes it made for crazy games to watch, other times games were entirely lost in draft with 0 counterplay because you didn't know the enemy team's picks.
Maybe in fearless draft if it's the last game in the series the enemy team should be allowed to pick a mirror matchup if they have the champ still available? That way we could see people absolutely style on each other, simply outclassing their opponent on individual performance and making draft even more interesting.
Fearless draft on 3 games is meh. Shouldve done it for 5 game series then maybe I could see teemo or yorick top

in order to fix fearless draft they need to make it so anytime any team uses a champion niether side can use it for the rest of the game so if wbg used varus then nip shouldn't be allowed to play it at all do that and we'll get some real cool ass drafts
